  1. Conductor was playing around with the AAS and the FIND got stuck on one of the programs he/she programmed. Happens a lot on Jamaica Yard sets for some reason.
  2. I ride the and daily (2 times a day) and never notice such a thing.
  3. The updated the announcements just a bit from the original ones.
  4. Friend just posted this pic on Facebook, heres what Junction Blvd looks like: - No signal power.
  5. I was just talking to a friend, he's stuck at Junction and he says every single signal is out in sight.
  6. Just a heads up, there's a R68 set rolling around on the Q this morning.
  7. They haven't updated any announcements (blecker st, atlantic av, etc.) on any R160 yet, thus they have't updated the software that controls the LEDs and FIND systems. Unless it's a complete mechanical failure, they can fix the glitches with software updates.
  8. I think this is the right thread to post this in, from the Broadway Fastrack :
  9. If that's the r40/42 that's in CIY, then it got flooded up to the T/O's front window in water when sandy's surge waters came in. I hope that's not the set they planned to preserve(d).
  10. I'm about to go out that direction and need to get into Manhattan on the , and i'll be sure to report how and where they relay trains. My guess is they relay either at Jay street with the or Dekalb.
  11. I guess i'm not the only one who noticed that seat. As i sat down i was like "wow this feels different, i'm like sliding off the seat". I look down and it's an R40 bench. Pretty nostalgic i gotta say.
  12. Not my solution to the problem, but it is possible and the signal configuration allows this. In Wallyhorse's solution, The expresses go to Flatbush.
  13. Why not? they can use the switch before Franklin and E pkwy. Of course this has to be in a dire situation but it's possible.
  14. I think he means that some conductors might sign their trains up as an train to lefferts or a to lefferts since there is no to lefferts program. This is what happened last time they did this G.O. :
  15. It was hectic. I got to 59 street at around 8:45 on a just fine, when this happened. We just waited at a station for 10 minutes and i decided to walk 10 blocks to college . I don't see why this would affect uptown service and why we couldn't leave 59.
  16. I don't think the signals will allow this as there are no signals set for the train to wrong rail after kings highway and switch at prospect. Let alone you would have to merge both CI and Manhattan bound trains onto a single track for a short section after parkside and before prospect park.
  17. A North bound Train Derails on the switch south of porspect park rendering the track useless. It's rush hour.
  18. I think this would cause a heck of a lot of confusion in Manhattan and let alone, i don't think the 160s have a program for a via 6 ave so this will only add to the confusion. I would short turn trains at Myrtle av and run the unchanged to 71st.
  19. I doubt it , i mean we are all mature people here right? right? I also wonder if there's a 4 to flats program (would be pretty dumb if there isn't)
  20. Ah ok, There has been at least 1 set on the operating every day, even weekends, for the past couple of months. Anyways it was a treat while it lasted.
  21. Anyone know if the might still run R160s tomorrow ?
  22. Please view the readme included with the download as it contains instructions on how to install it. Once it decompresses just put merge the route folder with the route directory and the Sound folder with the sound directory and the route folder with the route directory. If for what ever reason it decompressed and it doesnt show those three folder, but instead shows the ontents of the 3 folder you would have to : Put this folder into the sound directory (railway\sound) (CulverS) Put this folder into the route directory (Railway\route) (NYCT-F [v4.51]) put these folders into the Object directory (Railway\Object) (8thAve)(Culver)(IND Valley Stream)(LefShut)(NYCTCommon)(Octavia)(V Line) If you still have problems, i can help you install it via teamviewer.
