Preaching to the choir.....

Recommended Posts

I had the pleasure on Thursday afternoon to travel from Penn Sta. NY to South Station Boston on the Acela, man, its the only way to go, it was an absolutely great experience.

Ive driven to Boston (ugh), taken the plane (more of a hassle), taken the bus and the Northeast Regional, but the Acela is hands down the best option.

(....other than going by tugboat, but I get paid for that, lol. :P

Oh yes, the Acela is expensive, the ticket was 140.00, but if the company is willing to pay that kind of money, oh yeah, count me in. :)

A good job is always worth it! Do you get business class on planes as well?

Nope, no bus. class on the plane. ( I usually have good luck getting an exit row seat = leg room, plus I sleep thru most of any flight I go on.

My Acela trip was a one time deal, had to be in Boston toot sweet ;)

I would have taken Megabus and pay $30 round trip.

And I would've been right behind you. It's surprising that a diesel bus costs less than a electric train.
