Infamous85 Posted October 15, 2009 Share #26 Posted October 15, 2009 Bad idea. There is a shortage of seats on the Hybrids. This will exacerbate that. How many seats will the racks take up?
Grand Concourse Posted October 15, 2009 Share #27 Posted October 15, 2009 From the looks of the MTA image, at least 4 seats. But for a crowded bus, you might fit two more standees
Fresh Pond Posted October 15, 2009 Share #28 Posted October 15, 2009 Personaly, I don't like it (well on the NG's anyway) but I commend the idea of it. And here's another problem, almost all of those lines mentioned (except for maybe the Q10, Q48 & M60) uses an RTS or two so how will it work out on that? I have somewhat of a solution. Seeing that there's an Orion V with a luggage rack (#708) why not do a mini swap , send some Orion V's for those lines (no CNG's lol) and put the luggage racks on those? Like I said, its an idea and comments are always welcome.
