Shortline Bus Posted February 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2010 An Ontario Lawmaker north of the border has proposed making law a new bill that would limit or stop the job actions and or strikes that employees of the Toronto Transit Commision(TTC) have done reguarly since 1974. The lawmaker would make the TTC an essential service similar to Police and Fire/EMS workers copied after New York's Taylor Law does for our New York that allows for binding arbitation in contract disputes. TTC is the largest regional mass transit system in Canada.
