Norfolk Southern GP40-2 # 3026

Hello Everyone,

 

 

This locomotive has a very interesting story in my life. I first saw this locomotive hauling the local freight train in my area the WPSA31 in August 2006. I would run into this locomotive in Lakehurst NJ in June 2007. The last day I photographed in Hillside NJ on the Raritan Valley and Lehigh Lines in late July the locomotive was on a NS freight train there. Just recently the locomotive has returned to the Southern Secondary which runs from Red Bank NJ to Lakehurst. The one thing I like about this locomotive is the fact that it still in its Conrail paint.
