What Amtrak do you choose?

I am going to Miami on Amtrak I just want to know what is the best to take.

Sliver Star

OR

Sliver Meteor??

I ttok the Sliver Star a couple months ago. I think they run the same route.

No they don't. One runs further inland than the other, and the Star goes via Tampa, adding travel time.

 

If you want to go from north of Richmond to Savannah or Florida (except Lakeland and Tampa), use the Meteor if scheduling permits, it cuts a few hours.

I'd just take the Auto Train. It does travels the same route as the Silver Meteor. A train I would like to ride is the Empire Builder or the Southwest Chief. If the Sunset ever returns to Florida I'd also like that too. Especially crossing the Huey P. Long bridge after leaving New Orleans.

 

Auto Train doesn't take passengers without cars or motorcycles.
