guile84 Posted October 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2010 I have passed a car inspector exam which I took in December 2009. I know MTA recently laid off provisional car inspectors. Since MTA is in crisis, will it still going to hire new car inspectors or there is no hope?

guile84 Posted October 23, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted October 23, 2010 My list # is 369. But aren't they going to hire those laid off provisional car inspectors first? Or they will from the list of people who have passed the exam?
vprojis Posted October 24, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 24, 2010 They laid off provisional car inspectors who couldn't pass the exam. i think it was the people who got prom to CI, who weren't fit for the job. (This is all what i heard/read from different sources.) I know that they are going to be calling from the new list the previous list is almost empty & about to be expired! vprojis Posted October 24, 2010 Share #7 Posted October 24, 2010 "alot of the layoffs handed down to skilled positions were people who were provisional and didnt pass the test."
