Results Car Inspector

I have passed a car inspector exam which I took in December 2009. I know MTA recently laid off provisional car inspectors. Since MTA is in crisis, will it still going to hire new car inspectors or there is no hope?

if you look in this weeks Chief you will see under the "City Certifications" section on the second page that they have starting calling people from your list.

yea they started calling already. What is your list number. i took the same test, i think im 175 or 185. But in the same paper, i read about hiring freeze in the city agancy...!!! so i dont know......we'll see

Ohh By the way.........does any1 know how mnay point you can have on youe license (the max) to getthe job as a C I???

My list # is 369. But aren't they going to hire those laid off provisional car inspectors first? Or they will from the list of people who have passed the exam?

They laid off provisional car inspectors who couldn't pass the exam. i think it was the people who got prom to CI, who weren't fit for the job. (This is all what i heard/read from different sources.) I know that they are going to be calling from the new list the previous list is almost empty & about to be expired!
