BigGuyAdem Posted February 18, 2011 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2011 What's up everyone? Okay, so I got my CDL BPS last week and got my abstract at the same time. I have 6 points from early 2009. I did a defensive driving course which is certified by the DMV and they say the'll reduce up to 4 points. I called the DMV today and some guy on the phone tells me that if you have under 11 points you can never reduce. Reducing points is just for people who get their license suspended so they can start driving again. He says you need to wait 3 years after the year of conviction to get your points reduced. Meaning, I would have to wait to Jan 2013 for my points to clear up. Has anyone heard anything like this? I'm really pissed that I spent $45 only to be told my points wont go anywhere. jmazz77 Posted February 19, 2011 Share #2 Posted February 19, 2011 your points might not go down, but you'll still save 10% on insurance for 3yrs. pays for itself right there..

Locomotion69 Posted March 7, 2011 Share #5 Posted March 7, 2011 BigGuyAdem isn't on any B/O lists. From reading his previous posts he is thinking about working for Access A Ride and taking the next B/O exam in the near future.
