NYCTNostalgia Posted February 20, 2011 Share #1 Posted February 20, 2011 Why in the name of Jesus does this happen when I play the for Open-Bve on my Windows 7 desktop?
4P3607 Posted February 20, 2011 Share #2 Posted February 20, 2011 I noticed the 1st error: Critical the railway & train folders could not be found in any of the route file's parent directory. Please check your folder structure. You need to go to the following folder: C:\Program Files\BVE\ and put the following folders in: Railway, train. After that, go into "Railway", and put the follwing folders: Route, Object, & Sound. I know, they reformatted the site and Its very confusing. I had the same problem with Both Computers installing openBVE. Hopefully that should help. If not, then I think you may need to redownload the whole openBVE again B). NX Express Posted February 20, 2011 Share #3 Posted February 20, 2011 Folder Structure: Whatever\Whatever\OpenBVE Inside OpenBVE there should be: Railway ->>containing Route, Object, and Sound Folders. Train->> containing different folders for different routes.
error46146 Posted February 24, 2011 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2011 To make your life easier, even though it doesn't work, install BVE2 on your computer. That will set up the proper directory structure onto your computer and will make your life that much easier when it comes to installing routes and trains.
