Amtrak7 Posted March 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 24, 2011 Not often we see GO's on the SIR, but here goes: Staten Island Railway - No trains between Pleasant Plains and TottenvilleFree shuttle buses provide alternate service Weekend, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM Sunday, Mar 27 Staten Island Railway operates normal Sunday service between St George and Pleasant Plains. Free shuttle buses run between Pleasant Plains and Tottenville making the following stops: • Pleasant Plains Station on Amboy Road • Richmond Valley Station on Richmond Valley Road • Nassau Station on Arthur Kill Road • Atlantic Station on Arthur Kill Road • Tottenville Station at Utah and Main Streets The shuttle buses will connect with trains arriving and departing the Pleasant Plains Station operating every 30 minutes. Customers using the Tottenville, Atlantic, Nassau and Richmond Valley stations should allow extra travel time and plan to arrive at the shuttle bus stop 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time of the train. It's for a DRILL. http://www.mta.info/mta/news/releases/?en=110323-NYCT32 MTA Staten Island Railway announced that they will be participating in a NYC Fire Department interagency drill on Sunday, March 27 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. using the tracks between the Richmond Valley and Tottenville stations.
