Is America in a Golden Age, in a Decline, or in the Crossroads?

Yup, the corporations are going to destroy us.

And what would they have left as a result of their greed?

Nothing. I'm sure fleeing to another country isn't going to fix their problems...

They'll have money, and they'll take it to whichever country lets them have more of it. Until someone gets pissed off and starts taking them out. Just like the French Revolution. The wealthy oppress the poor and working classes until they say f*** it, death is better than this shit, and with nothing to lose they take EVERYTHING from the rich and kill them in a bloodbath.

It's happened literally hundreds of times in history and the arrogant f***s never learn their lesson.

You do realize that people are greedy and corporations are just made up of people right?

Corporations institutionalize and reward human greed by giving it a conduit to exert its will on the rest of society.

Especially when they are given rights that are inalienable rights of AMERICAN CITIZENS, when corporations are not citizens. Corporations do not have the right to life. Corporations do not have the right to liberty. Corporations do not have the right to pursue happiness. They do not have free speech. CITIZENS have these things. The courts, however, have sought to use things like the Patriot Act to limit individual rights, the Freedom of Information Act to limit personal privacy, while turning and using decisions to grant rights intended for citizens to inanimate corporate objects so that they can FURTHER exert their will over the American public by spending from corporate coffers to directly support political campaigns that suit their causes. In other words, legalized bribery.
