GreeneggsnPelham Posted October 14, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2011 Hey All, As per Zach's request, I rode out with one of my operator buddies a few weeks ago and shot a rare video of the Light Rail wrong-railing late at night. Due to the construction of the new Sky Train connecting Sky Harbor Airport's terminals with the light rail station at 44 St/Washington, they close Washington St e/b from 10pm to 5am weekdays. Because of this, the normal e/b track is closed and trains must run on the w/b track from 27 St Interlocking to 44 St. They close the e/b track at midnight, and my buddy's train is the last train of the night going into the yard, so it's the only one that wrong-rails. I only shot the video to 38 St station, but I hope you all enjoy. Very rarely do we get a "GO" situation like this since our system is really small and simplistic. Video: Enjoy! -A :cool: P.S.
