Tokkemon Posted November 28, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 28, 2011 For all of you Americans, this may be a non-interest piece for you, but so be it. CFL.ca - Official Site of the Canadian Football League The B.C. Lions have won the Grey Cup at home!!! This makes me proud as a Vancouverite and a Canadian. Now, if only the Jets would win something (or at least more).

Tokkemon Posted November 28, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted November 28, 2011 Where would you put the second team though? There aren't that many markets in Canada that can support a major football team.

Lions started out something like 0-3 or 0-4?(i think the CFL regular season is 18 games from Mid July-Early November) I watch the CFL on occasion (NFL Network)as some NFL players started their i.e Warren Moon, etc. Plus Kamen in the early-1990's the CFL did expand and had 4-6 US teams with Baltimore being the main ones. Baltimore remains the only Non-Canada team to ever win the Grey Cup as they folded and moved to Montreal when the Ravens were created(moving from Cleveland) in the NFL by 1999. Sounds like the BC Lions took a page from their friends in MLB the 2011 World Series Champs Cardinals who also had a terrible start.
