trainfan22 Posted February 21, 2012 Share #26 Posted February 21, 2012 About time. The old transfer was falling apart and had holes. I thought I would fall to the street below when I was using it. My brother was terrified of using it. I feel that way when I use the Culver EL stations, raggedy is a understatement to describe those stations! I wouldn't be shocked someone did fall though one of those stations one day, I know part of the 18th Ave station collapsed not too long ago. Anyone know when the Culver EL stations are gonna get a rehab? Only nice thing about the Culver EL is most of the stations have light ridership, nice quiet wait for the train.... SubwayRat1978 Posted February 23, 2012 Share #27 Posted February 23, 2012 I'm glad they're finally doing this - but I gotta admit, it's a pain in the a** having to walk to my current job on 62 Street & 15 Ave from 60 Street & New Utrecht. Tho I kinda like riding in the last car on the West End (less people).
