When MTA took over, they should have kept the original colors, would of made for an interesting fllet. excellent pics trevor

They did, for a while. It took a few months to re-paint/stripe the buses. They just slapped on an MTA decal literally overnight on all the buses when they took over. It was very interesting to see.
