Shortline Bus Posted October 9, 2012 Author Share #26 Posted October 9, 2012 But the Yankees are on 880, it's those damn Mets on the Fan. Unless they want to move the Yanks to WFAN. WFAN and WCBS-AM 880 are 'sister stations'; owned by CBS Radio/Viacom.

I know that, but the point is this isn't gonna help the Yankees stay with CBS unless 880 goes on FM or they move the games to WFAN, which I don't see working out unless they move the Mets over to another station, and I don't know if they'd want to do that and be off the FM dial unless they go to ESPN. My guess and I could be wrong. Yankees move to "new" 101.9 FM WFAN, while the Mets goes to ESPN 98.7. ESPN hosts can only talk "Lebron" and the NFL/College Football to a point in summer months.
