Trainspotter 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2007 Troublemaker gets a major kick out of new MBTA gates Courtesy of Boston Herald, August 21, 2007 By By Kelly Paice [float=right][/float]A 19-year-old Stoughton man was arrested Saturday night after allegedly kicking and shattering a fare gate at Braintree’s MBTA station, according to officials. Allegedly caught in the act on the station’s surveillance cameras, Shawn Foley was arraigned yesterday in Quincy District Court on a charge of malicious destruction of property, according to T spokesman Joseph Pesaturo. Foley is due in court Oct. 15. The arrest marks the fourth incident of vandalism since the last fare gates were installed this past December, Pesaturo said. Within a span of several hours just three weeks ago, T cameras captured thugs destroying fare gates at the Science Park stop on the Green Line and at Courthouse Station on the Silver Line, Pesaturo said. Harry 1,088 Posted August 27, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 27, 2007 I don't think they could do much but maybe ban him from using the system. Make him walk everywhere.

sebbieprops 0 Posted August 27, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 27, 2007 I don't think they could do much but maybe ban him from using the system. Make him walk everywhere. I'd say that would be an appropriate punishment as well.
