Kanarsie Guy Posted August 24, 2015 Share #26 Posted August 24, 2015 Splitting the B6 as a everyday rider for 25+ years will not work to many people. The overlap does not fit the ride pattern Rockaway Parkway station can't handle that. U would be dumping B17, B42, B60, B82, B86 & the L on to the B76 which will be late and full not to mention people along the route. Plus the turnaround would be very difficult to do at the Juction for the new B6 cause more delay time. I say give SBS a try i think it has more up then downs splitting the route defentily won't help. Kanarsie Guy Posted August 24, 2015 Share #27 Posted August 24, 2015 Would all 3 come from UP or FLA/ENY? I could split the 82 back into 2 routes again: B5-Coney Island to Flatbush Av (maybe interline with the B7 [and have it return to FLA]) or Kings Plaza B50- Kings Highway to Starrett City B6- UP B76- UP B86- ENY
Kanarsie Guy Posted August 24, 2015 Share #28 Posted August 24, 2015 I don't follow (whatever point you're making)..... ---------- Unrelated, I wonder how the B103 would fare if it ended at E. 105th ..... Even better select trips go down Rockaway Parkway to the treminal it can go back down to M or go down Flatlands Av to E 80 Street
