mfs NJT459 Posted January 8, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2016 According to Bloomberg: there were 179 NJT breakdowns, 90 for LIRR, and 139 for MNR in 2013. So while Cuomo has made announcements in investing in new projects like a 3rd track on the LIRR, a new Penn Station, and MNR stations in the Bronx that could lead into Penn Station, Christie has done nothing for NJ other than move money from the capital budget to the operating budget, and not alot of money was spent on preventative maintenance on NJT trains, not to mention Christie cancelling the Arc Tunnelhttp://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-01-06/n-j-transit-rail-reliability-crumbling-after-capital-fund-raids

I honestly believe that Christie would not have allowed the project to completely die.
DS4Ever Posted January 9, 2016 Share #4 Posted January 9, 2016 To much the use of NJT rail is more a bargain than the buses Ok that rails use zoned fares but buses c'mon tthat's abusive especially on local bus routes Say no to zoned bus fares...say yes to flat rates tariffs
