Apparently the construction of the building going up right above this second entrance is causing conflicts between the developer and the contractor. Here's a photo I took of the incline of the second entrance a few weeks ago; as you can see, there's still a long way to go. Lucky for the MTA Hudson Yards won't be at full usage for a while so they can afford to be slow building the entrance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The opening of this entrance depends on how construction on the building it will be located under proceeds. That was mentioned in a previous board meeting.
