Brighton Local Posted September 26, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2008 Finally caught a Train at the # 1 Fan Spot, Ive been trying to catch trains at for nearly 2 years. Flagstaff Bound Intermodal/Piggyback passes through Peoria, Arizona. I tell you though, being next to these monstrous Diesels, and freight cars made me a little worried. The whole time I was taping, I was thinking, what if, one of these containers fell off, and creamed me:o:eek:.. Anyways, enjoy ! Besides being a little worried, I loved every second if it! Harry Posted September 26, 2008 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2008 Now that's a train! I counted 4 locomotives, 77 mixed intermodal well cars and husky stacks and 13 piggy back cars. All together a 90 car train. Nice catch on that one.

Harry Posted September 26, 2008 Share #4 Posted September 26, 2008 Thanks Man! This Train had your name written all over it! I remember telling you that I caught something like that up in Saratoga, NY, but I screwed up and wound up with only half the train. It was about a 75-80 car mixed train of well cars, husky stacks, box cars, piggy backs and covered hoppers. It was never posted.
metsfan Posted September 26, 2008 Share #5 Posted September 26, 2008 Nice catch! We see consists like that around here all the time. When we're stuck at the gate we turn the car off & listen to it go by. If we are close enough i'll get out & watch. What kinda loco's are they? The lead and rear 2 trailing units look like the GE AC6000CW. - A
