Pre-employment & Alcohol Question...

I was called for pre-employment medical physical 3/8/18, at 180 Livingston Street, after a drug test a week before. I was asked by the doctor, do i consume alcohol and how much?  My answer was, yes and that I had a couple beers per month. 

I was referred to to a substance abuse specialist and she told be to go to an OASAS Program, I must pay the cost of program ($200) and have a urine screen done by a laboratory for $400 (I must also pay).

I am numb...Is a couple beers per month on the weekend when i am off duty considered a substance abuse?

i trying to be truthful and disclose everything, I don't them to say i lied on my app,

I had 10 driving jobs and that never an issue

if you never had any issue just say NO and move on...now this will set you back

Finally cleared by MTA doctor, 

Start training tomorrow at Zerega Ave Bx.

you lucked out but yea...their assessment was bogus. Substance abuse for some beer on weekends lol
