What's downright deplorable is the on-time performance. Express bus service is horrendous in terms of late buses. How in the world does the QM3 have a 53% on-time performance when it only runs THREE buses each way??? The QM5 and QM6 are also horrible.

A lot of that probably has to do with the PM rush service. They're usually late leaving Manhattan, and they get boggled down on Northern Boulevard, especially around Queens Plaza and Flushing.

Damn phone. Hopefully a mod will post it in the right area. The other interesting thing is bus cleanliness. The report notes that the express buses are generally cleaner inside than outside, so that begs the question of why CP doesn't wash their buses? The outside of their buses are generally filthy and the inside while litter free often times don't see a mop. 

Traffic of not 53% on-time performance for a route like the QM3 is inexcusable. With a bus that runs every 30 minutes at night, it's easy to see why it isn't attractive over the LIRR.

IDK if a bus lane would be feasible on Northern. At the very least, it can be in effect during the rush hour, from Broadway to Bell Boulevard. If it can be done, that should be implemented.
