Lake Shore Limited on a Detour

over the Hell Gate Bridge. You know how much I love this bridge...waaalll ok, now I got special train on special bridge

 

 

 

 

 

The idea was to use the AEM7 to bring the train to New Rochelle where it would disconnect and the diesel would take the train over MN trackage on the New Haven line where it would meet the Harlem in Woodlawn Jct and then continue around the wye at MO to catch the Hudson Line and on to Albany, etc etc. The Maple Leaf and Ethan Allen trains were combined into one train and the same thing was done. Boo YAH!
