Free shuttle buses replace trains between Stillwell Av and Kings Hwy

 

Two Weekends Dec 5 – 8 , 12 – 15, 9:30 PM Fri to 5 AM Mon

 

How will this affect my trip?

• Transfer between the shuttle bus and Q train at Kings Hwy.

• Shuttle buses make stops at Stillwell Av, West 8 St, Ocean Pkwy, Brighton Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Neck Rd, Avenue U, and Kings Hwy.

 

Why is service being changed?

We are doing station rehabilitation work on the the Coney Island-bound Avenue U and Neck Rd stations will be closed for station rehabilitation beginning 5 AM Monday, December 8 through September 2009.

Stillwell Av on Surf at Stillwell Avs (B36 bus stop)

 

West 8 St on West 8 St at subway entrance

 

 

Ocean Pkwy on West Brighton Av at Ocean Pkwy

 

Brighton Beach on Brighton Beach at Coney Island Avs (B68 bus stop)

 

Sheepshead Bay on East 14 St at Sheepshead Bay Rd (B4 bus stop) toward Kings Hwy)

(on East 16 St at Sheepshead Bay Rd (B4 bus stop) (toward Stillwell Av)

 

Neck Rd on East 17 St at Gravesend Neck Rd (toward Kings Hwy)

on Gravesend Neck Rd at subway entrance (toward Stillwell Av)

 

Avenue U on Av U at East 16 St (B3 bus stop)

 

Kings Hwy on Quentin Rd at East 16 St

 

This service change affects one or more ADA accessible stations.

Can someone clarify if southbound (Q) trains will be running on the express tracks between Kings Highway and Brighton Beach for us?

Now I could wake up later, because my commute will be faster. But soon they are gonna come to my station , Avenue J, so that might be a problem....

Tehy should have done this earlier.
