MattTrain Posted February 9, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2009 The in the Bronx is the most enjoyable part of it's route, however this will make it less adventurous with that smoke condition.

Qns Blvd Dom Posted February 9, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 9, 2009 WOW! It's still ongoing? I remember hearing about this earlier this afternoon around 4:30 on the 2 train coming into Franklin Ave with the C/R saying because of a fire around Jackson Ave, 2 trains are ending at 96 St and for anybody heading to the bronx needed to get off @ Franklin for the 4 train to 149-GC for a shuttle bus
Amtrak7 Posted February 9, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 9, 2009 It is STILL ongoing as of now. Service is able to run, but northbound trains are express only, which is odd, considering southbound trains are supposed to be express now. Are they forcing southbound local due to the single track? SevenEleven Posted February 9, 2009 Share #6 Posted February 9, 2009 It is. The is suspended. Also, following an earlier smoke condition at the Jackson Avenue Station, Brooklyn College-bound train service has resumed with residual delays. Wakefield-bound trains are running on the express track between the 149th Street-Grand Concourse Station and the East 180th Street Station.
