What is up with the A/C on 4121? It has that weird whirring sound.

9387 has been repainted, of course the old way.

Also 6567 has been repainted the new way.

Well when you say LBSS modified...does it still have LBSS? Or completely deactivated. Idk what the Allison Novas sound like.

They changed up the program. 

I feel bad for this one crew on the A today. The train got to Broadway Junction due to I believe a sick passenger. After they get the women off, the train goes along its way to Utica. At Utica this old women holds the doors asking out loud "Are you going to Rockaway Ave?" The conductor tries repeatedly to close the doors but the lady is still holding the doors. So I decided to help her out and say she had the wrong train. The T/O comes out of the cab and says exactly what I said. The lady said "you could have just told me that", and "it's your job". The women calls the T/o a stynkin bastard and a F'ckn bastard. The train leaves and the conductor nods at me like "smfh" and says thank you.

Something tells me this week is gonna be interesting for me.

So today I was on the B103. The driver had his A/C off and when he came to Rockaway Parkway and Ave M (I think) a dude opened up the rear emergency hatch. The driver asked "who just opened up that hatch". The dude said "I did 'cause you didn't turn on the A/C". The driver asked him to close the hatch but the passenger refused and said "You close it". After a few seconds the driver said "I close it?". The driver reported the passenger and the bus was held for maybe 10 minutes. Meanwhile the passenger is starring down the driver. The driver opens up the partition (its bus 519) and makes everyone get off the bus. An Orion V CNG came (9846) and the driver made everyone get back on the bus, and we drove off.

Meaning what? I dont mind artics, but the b41 north of the Junction is just terrible for traffic and the buses tends to bunch. You throw in artics only for that line and the problem is much worse. B46 has a pretty high fare beating rate and adding another set of doors to enter is just asking for more lost revenue. Unless the mta is serious on boosting the eagle team numbers to crack down on other, non sbs routes, then fine, but till then, i'd say leave the artics for just the b44sbs, whenever that starts up.

It would be especially bad when only one limited shows up and there's a mob of people at the stop unless the driver doesn't open up the rear doors.

6494 and 6589 in the new scheme.

6589 looked pretty good.

6619 is in the new scheme.

6618 and 6599 are in the new scheme.

My RTS ride onboard #5130 this afternoon. Just..wow that was some ride. The driver had the bus jerking back and forth like nobody's business, and I couldn't even keep my rear in my seat. One of the most interesting RTS rides I've had to date.

The Bus Driver of 328...

Funny I had 328 on the B8 around 4:20 ish.

4107 is now in the new scheme.

So now its the Novas!??!? OK....whats next?!? The C40s?

Peeling? Was the white paint actually peeling? Cause that's the only paint on that bus; MTA specced black vinyl and blue sticker stripes which come right off. 4899 is the only painted XD40.

It looked like it was, or atleast you could see the silver part of the skirt.

I saw 4843 and 4838 today and man are those buses looking worn. Both have peeling paint from the left side skirt.

6559 and 6594 are in the new scheme

8870 and 8902 did go to LGA though.

Well it was fun while it lasted lol..

C40LF #230 is now equipped with a driver's partition.

Also, I forgot but what about #4474 and #4618. They already look like they were delivered that way BUT they are not in the "NEW" scheme, huh?

4618 still isn't in the "NEW" scheme as of yet.
