  1. S78 how would take care of the brighton line? Some people may not be aware how the service work during the late night hours, so it best to include how it done. Also the is assisting the load along 6Th ave since Broadway is near by. They can cut it to 57th Street/6Th Ave if there plenty of time between two trains like they did with the during the G.O. It seem everyone had good idea about of 4th Ave but it seem we all debating how the Brighton line is gonna get service by the or because the location of where to terminate. My other thought is let the terminate at Whitehall Street. train run local from 59 Street to 36 then express and terminate at Pacific Street. run local all of 4Th Avenue. shuttle between 95 street and 59 street like they did during the G.O.
  2. i would do this train Coney Island to Whitehall Street running local with the between 36 street and Dekalb Ave. train Astoria to Queensboro Plaza. Sort of the way they did to train suspension to Manhattan. train 95 st to 36 st. The and run local in Queens. suspend but the replace the between Coney Island to Dekalb Ave with service to 168 street with same tph as during the day schedule
  3. Wallyhorse how you able operate two trains to terminate at Whitehall? The middle track would be the only one can operate to allow train to go in reverse in either direction.
  4. Due to a police investigation at the 18th Av Station, train service is running via line between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 36th St in Brooklyn in both directions. As an alternate customers are advised to use B1, B4, B6, B8, B9, B11, B16 and B35 buses to nearby train service. The whole West End line got shut down. Hmmm what happen at this stop? shooting from one platform to another?
  5. That what i was thinking. I think they probably meant Queensboro. there a switch track on the hill between the tunnel and the station. Or they did the long version by going to express track on the Astoria line then park it there and motorman had to walk to the other end to ge the train back to Manhattan.
  6. Due to a train with mechanical problems at the 5th Avenue-59th Street Station, downtown and trains are running express from the 34th Street-Herald Square Station to the Canal Street Station. Please expect delays in , and service at this time. This does not make sense at all.
  7. Due to a signal problem at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station, downtown trains are terminating at the Bay Parkway Station on the line. For service between the Bay Parkway Station and the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station, customers are advised to transfer to a Coney Island-bound train at the Bay Parkway Station. Please expect delays in train service at this time. If train terminate at bay parkway, what happen to the riders on sea beach line? Couldn't they terminated at their own Bay Parkway or 86 street? No advice for people along the sea beach. I would be piss about this situation even tho this is temporary.
  8. there no way to get the to astoria. The is underground while the is above ground. Since both stop are in short distance how you gonna build the connection to get the up there while the 59street bridge is right next to it. Also include the El trains there as well.
  9. I know sometime it can be either a glitch in the pc or someone forgot to double check their posted work. They did a press release on the Fast9 track is coming back for. After few words of reading the article it was mostly talking about the on the go Ez pass. funny stuff.
  10. IMO i just realized something. I know what is Fasttrak. To me i think this Fasttrak is another way of how the MTA got in repairs and maintenance again like they did back in the 1980/ Remember this is IMO
  11. Lucky the fast track for 1, 2, 3, didn't happen this week. I wander what happen if tons of worker work down there and this happen without notice. I know for sure third rail is turn off.
  12. Express tracks out of service at 28 St . Note that trains cannot all fit on one track, and trains can't fit on Lexington. Since some service will have to be cut, run extra trains to accommodate passengers. train cuts back to 96 street to 242 street train run local from 96 street to chambers street both direction. Selected train will run between 42 street and South Ferry local in both direction. train on shuttle modes in Harlem while extended to New Lots Avenue There are selected trains running from Chambers Street to 145 street while the regular train to Euclid Avenue.
  13. wasn't paul flaugren(don't know the spelling) was a better newscaster for the MTA on NY1?
  14. probably a lot. I wish those suicide attempt do it elsewhere. One other thing, I noticed on MTa website, there a delay on C and E train for switching problems. The problem was reported at 343 pm. It now 2030 on my pc. Is it possible to go that long?
  15. Good action to figure out in What IF for FamousNy. I can do some but not all because i don't know the buses to well in that area. I pass
  16. The two middle tracks at Jay Street (A and C trains) are out of service. C is shuttle service between Hoyt and Broadway Junction. One train on both side with 30 minutes headway. A train from Manhattan rerouted to Church Avenue via F line since the switch is before Jay street station. Shuttle buses for Jay Street to Hoyt Street station. A in Queens run from Broadway Junction to Lefftert Blvd. Rockaway shuttle will do the old version of H train in Round Robin. Euclid Ave to Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park. Expect long delay and used all train connection to get around it. Broadway Junction for the J,Z and L. Use Franklin Avenue to get the shuttle train for the 2, 3, 4, 5 or B and Q train. What If All tracks at DeKalb Ave are out of service.(B, D, N, Q, R) including the express track. Also all the Pacific Street switches are broken as well.
  17. I was listening to the video and she said it all wrong at the end. She stated that 7 line is part of lexington. LOL To go directly to her mistake look for 1:35 to 2:00 MTA "Fastrack" Repairs Begin On Eighth Avenue Line - NY1.com
  18. I just notice something. I think that second 7th Ave fast track was misprinted. Here we are notice that Lex Ave was first, then 7th Ave then 6th Ave then 8th ave. But i notice when is Broadway Fast track? That my theory and opinion.
  19. What If 36 street in brooklyn is damaged and impassable. at same time another Avenue M got structural damage by tall 18 wheelers along Brighton line, Also the Rutger tube was destroyed and flooded.
  20. i can understand that now. But what happen to 456 line? they didn't get the second round of fast track.
  21. Why are they going back to 7 ave that quick? Did they forget to do something in that stretch?
  22. If i can jump in. What if 71 ave, queens had major water damage. Coney Island station got destroyed by hurricane.
  23. there is a switch track on both side of west 4 street brooklyn bound side of the station. Going toward the bridge before entering west 4 street , there is a switch for both the local and express. After leaving the west 4 street only the local side or the F train had a switch to the Ind Fulton line and vice versa. Going toward queens and bronx, after Broadway lafayette, there is a switch for both F and express track. Before entering west 4 street there is another set of switch for the Ind fulton and the F to switch places. After west 4 street, i think there only a switch from the local to express track only.
