  1. yea why split it three way when that C train don't run that great
  2. Due to switch problems at Canal St, Northbound trains via line from Canal St to 59 St-Columbus Circle. Some northbound via line from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St-Washington Sq. Some northbound via line from Jay St-MetroTech to 34 St- Herald Sq then via the line to 59 St-Columbus Circle. and train service has resumed with residual delays. Allow additional travel time. three way split that ironic to do and to confuse passenger
  3. train with mechanical problem on R train at 95Street, brooklyn. expect delays in both direction. This is first time i heard a mechanical problem inside a terminal.to me it weird but it happen.
  4. hi all, I was wandering about all these new city buses that been in used. Pardon me that i haven't rode any city bus since 1994. I moved to Nj. On NJT buses, they have Clever device. This device announce the stop that is coming up automatically like on the R142, R143 and R160 subway car. Are they installed on their so if the people have no ideas what street they are near at least they can hear it. Also I noticed on local buses in Monmouth County they had door protection between the driver and passenger to keep the scumbag attacking them. Have they done that after all this incident i heard on the news?
  5. Two things i have to say. I noticed on Nabi bus that is running the 832, there a special door between the driver and passenger. that seem new to me. That door was to keep the scumbag from attacking the driver. Did the MTA did the same as well? Also after i visit my friend house in asbury it took me two hours to get home to red bank. Here why. i left round 4 pm without knowing a schedule. i head to the station and i saw the 832 and train schedule. they are both a minute apart at 427 and 428. i want to go home faster so i decide to take the train. what a mistake that was and there was nothing i could do. first it got delayed 7 minutes late. after 7 minute wait then it said another 17 minutes. After 17 more minutes pass by they decided to cancel the train. meanwhile it was fridgid cold out there that my feet got numb. a lot of people was late for their destination. some of these passenger want to go to long branch and have to wait for 837. i got on 832. the bus driver was mean to passenger because he claim the radio is not working and won't honor the ticket. that bus driver was a liar because when he reach near red bank the radio was on and i heard a dispatcher calling a bus to come in. Also, i wish that employee who take care of the inside of the station house waited a little longer till the train come or got cancelled, so everyone could stayed warmer little longer. he had to close it up by 430. that was mean even tho there nothing we could have done.
  6. don't forget the 9 came back to service as del with r142A
  7. they need to figure out why Church ave signal keep getting screw up. it been happening a lot lately and i am sure they demand to investigate why it keep failing.
  8. does anyone know why all NJCL Long Branch train had a restriction speed between Hazlet and Middletown? It been like this for while. The New York bound don't have any restriction speed between the two stations. Just curious.
  9. here the thought. During the QBL Fastrak, the ® will end service early in Queens, Now the Montague St tunnel is closed, who gonna replace the Broadway line to Whitehall? i think it will be closed between Canal st and Whitehall and do fasttrak there as well at same time.
  10. let not forget how bad it is on the new Pelham 123 with John Travolta. In beginning it was at GC on the and in the end they lay the direction of the train to Coney Island when we know that impossible. Also if you noticed in passenger area they used the R160 not the R142
  11. does anyone know if they keep the extra lights hanging on the tunnel wall after the fasttrack for the week is done? i figure with all these fasttrak and GO, they would hang it up once and leave it there forever to save time and money.also keep the frustration down on both public and employee.
  12. i read on news website that NJtransit northeast train was stuck for app. 2 hours outside of newark penn station due to down wire on the train. Amtrak spoken said it related to frigid cold weather.
  13. N6limited i think to add more service to customers on local so they won't freeze to long. it called courstey service.

  16. MTA Service Status Service Change Posted: 12/29/2013 8:07PM Due to signal problems at 65 St and Jackson Heights- Roosevelt Av: Northbound train service terminate at Times Sq- 42 St. Northbound train service terminate at Queens Plz. Some northbound train service terminate at W 4 St- Washington Sq and 34 St- Herald Sq. Southbound , and trains service terminate at Forest Hills-71 Av. There is no southbound train service between Jamaica- 179 St to Forest Hills- 71 Av. Customers are advised to use the train making corresponding stops from Forest Hills- 71 Av to Briarwood- Van Wyck Blvd. Allow additional travel time. bad typo. are telling me that there is train or no train. (Jamaica side)
  17. it seem like it not added to avoid money on 34 street stop
  18. the lowest amount is very conflicted. it depend on how you want to count the route because there are some that is overlapping a little like in Queens. You got the that run along with and split in Jamaica meanwhile you got the running downstair in Jamaica. Even tho the had it own platform at Chambers St, WTC with the . Should the be counted even tho other trains is at that stations. I do not want to argue about this. it just something everyone have different opinion on.
  19. i figured that why waste time and money when something is about to open up with more R188 coming in
  20. does the R188 strip maps have the 34 street on there or it will be add on later?
  21. imo 19 is the lowest you can get. the maximum is a lot because the train had the most detours in the system.
  22. seem like the and will have to run local for while
  23. Service Change Posted: 12/12/2013 6:19AM Due to track maintenance at Lexington Av-53 St, northbound and trains are delayed. Allow additional travel time. Delays Posted: 12/12/2013 6:13AM Due to track maintenance at 36 St (Qns), southbound and trains are delayed. Allow additional travel time. double whammy?
