It’s happened to me on the 126. Port Authority loves to reroute lanes at the last second, especially in that rightmost tunnel, I get sent down to 34th St. luckily a lot of them understood it wasn’t my fault. Dispatch wasn’t happy with me though haha.
Screw dispatch lol

Could they also use these buses on the local Middlesex routes? I hope so because the 6100s are getting beat up and they're breaking down more often then not.
I suppose so

Hopefully it means the route can be added to the tracker.
The bus signs aren't programmed to display anything yet

6528 to Suburban. I guess Suburban is using NABIs for the 986 instead of MCIs

6527 to Suburban Trails

now this is getting me interested. Both 6526 & 6529 are with Suburban Trails? Now this is a shakeup indeed...
Do you actually got a pic of them in service or with Suburban?
Couldn't grab a picture of either one of them, they passed by in front of my house on both occasions

6526 to Suburban Trails, saw it on the Plainfield-Summit shuttle (981)

Not sure why 18005 is in North Jersey on the 160. Washington Township garage barely has enough buses for their own routes. Plus didn't Wayne just get a bunch of 21000s from Coach USA??
Mileage swap, as mentioned earlier in the thread

I'm CTFU if they got the outbound #108 signed up as "NWK" in 3 big ass letters.
But yeah, I brought up the "Eliz" BS in an earlier post in this thread, referencing having seen it on a #26... Just dumb all the way around... For whatever the reason, they're regressing in the designation signage category.
I saw it on a 26 not long ago, and then I saw the 5... like WTF

Take this with a grain of salt, but NJT appears to gain a new bus route. Community Coach's #77 will be NJT #103. The reason being: "Community suppose to be going all charter in Paramus. They’ll just have Rockland and the B lines" per an operator with knowledge.

Am I the only one who doesn't like how the destination signs on the buses look when they decided to abbreviate Newark to NWK, Jersey to JRSY, or Elizabeth to ELIZ? Makes them look lazy and empty

Same thing happened at egg harbor. Njt maintenance is going down bad.
That's across the board: heavy rail, bus, and light rail

So is Suburan Trails getting some units? And thought NJT doesn't use NABIs on the 986.
Not NJT, Suburban. They use either the shorter buses (Champion brand ones) or MCIs

4210 is there as well all black Erie & Lackawanna. It’s a transfer; had 4 comets, 2 cab and 2 non cabs. The multilevel 7510 is a non cab car hooked with one comet cab car.

Also all Hudson county lines don’t need MCI cruisers, they need low floor buses. These poor elders risk breaking there bones exiting off the MCI and the kneelers are not designed to be used frequently
Military grade? LOL at military grade

what were the numbers
They're working shuttle runs to/from Metlife Stadium heading to Secaucus for the Stadium Series games played there this weekend. Helping out with the crowd since rail can get overwhelmed easily.

They’ve been doing these route learning runs ever since they lost the contract, so I doubt it.
Anything is possible at this point

Does anyone know why Academy continues to do route learning runs that shadow NJT route 88, saw one of their Orion VII OG shadowing the 88 earlier this morning, and then months past, I seen their nova buses and their new flyer D40LFs shadowing the 88 as well. So can anyone explain why the Academy continues to do route learning runs on the 88? A route they have it ran since June 2021.
PS: I’ll post a picture of the OG in the photo thing
Perhaps some foreshadowing, maybe the contract is going back to Academy after all

Not Academy owned, PANYNJ owns them.

They are absolutely not maxed out on weekends, which is when most stadium events are held
It doesn't matter if they're maxed out or not. Amtrak owns the tunnels, and if they say they're maxed, including weekends, their word is law.
