  1. I don't think there's any demand for an Astoria-Williamsburg route.

You'd be surprised  The two areas are becoming more and more similar and the connection QJ suggested requires long transfers and long waits. It's not optimal for most people and I think they'd opt for a one seat ride on a bus rather than that 3 train transfer.

  2. I would like to make a request:

    Route: 20

    Frame 1:

    Cimexa Int'l Airport

    Terminal A

    Frame 2:

Via Ciro High Road (If possible, I'd like this as one line.)

    and: Route: 1

    Frame 1:

    Victoria Station

    Frame 2:

    Via Park Lane

    Via Elm Avenue

    Thanks in advance!

  3.  They should make the Madison Avenue Line  (H) (P) (U) & (Y) trains. (H) & (P) trains come in from Queens with the (E) (M) Trains from the 53rd Street Tunnel and the (H) train meets at 50th Street with the (U) while the (P) train meets at 42nd Street Grand Central with the (H) (S) (U) (Y) (4)(5)(6) & (7). The (U) & (Y) trains run on Madison Avenue Line starting at 125th Street.

Too many trains in the 53rd Street tunnel, while the 63rd Street tunnel is empty in this scenario. That's my only real issue.

  4. I feel like a lot of the route shifting recently is to try and find buses that don't really exist. They're retiring buses too fast and finding themselves short, so they move routes around trying to make things better, but it's not working...

  5. They really should just keep the Rockaways (A) as the (A) and rename the Lefferts (A) to (K) once the Rockaways line reopens. Since the Lefferts runs are a shuttle overnight anyways, it's an easy distinction. If you want JFK, take the (A), Lefferts take the (K).

Not necessary. Just read the damn sign and you'll be fine...

  6. Nice decal you have there. What car in particular did you see this decal on? I assume the R44-SI cars that have been there for the longest while now.

(also, as a word of advice, try not to revive threads more than a couple months old. You had something to contribute here, but just a heads up.)

  7. Due to flooding on the Montague Street, and because of a structural problem on the Manny-B, reroute the (B) , (D) , (N), (Q), (R) !

    (B): Bronx-34th Street

(D): Some trains Bronx-Coney Island via Culver Express and 6th Avenue Local. Most trains terminate at 34th Street signed as (B)'s.

    (M): Chambers Street-Metropolitan Avenue

    (N): Queens-34th Street and Pacific Street-Coney Island.

(Q): 71st Avenue-Coney Island via Culver Express and 6th Avenue Local. Replaces (M) and (R) in Queens.

    (R): 36th Street-95th Street, shuttle

A bit foamerish, but in a case like this, I'd do it. This would probably confuse riders nonetheless, so it's not the best solution.

  8. Ok this is why I couldn't activate it, despite what the game said.

Don't worry I pay attention to the sign but I didn't undertand all of them. Many red lights had speed limit, this is pretty useful.

Do you have a link where I could have the meaning of all sign ?

I am more used to Japanese and LU routes.

I will download the  (Q), what are the best routes ? (length, diversity, quality...)

All of them are pretty good, and you really should download all of them if you want to have all of the objects.

As for the meanings of the signs, I'll give you a quick overview, but for the best info check out nycsubway.org.

    Signs that just say:

    25

    MILES

are normal speed limits. You have some leeway with these as they are untimed and freeform.

    Signs like this:

    GT

    25

are grade timers. These make sure you are traveling at or below the posted speed, and you MUST slow down to that posted speed.

The markers in the station [10], [8] are the car markers. Generally, you will be stopping at the [10] car marker, but on certain routes:

The (C), when using R32's, you will stop at the [8] car marker.

The (G), when using any train, you will stop at the [6] car marker.

These are the only exceptions that use normal sized platforms. Hope I could be of help.

  9. I just played the  (F)  (Coney Island - 179th street in express). It is good.

The line is easy to drive even if there is many red light that made the trip not necessary smoth but I think that it is an overall case of the New York subway because of the numberous connection unlike other subway systems where line are more segregated.

I prefer the underground section rather than elevated because of the level of detail.

Elevated sections are not beautiful in BVE/OpenBVE.

The R160 are easy to drive and have a good braking.

I have just a question, I don't remember how to activate the ATS.

It is a bit annoying without it because I don't always know the speed limit.

    My overall impression is positive.

Our routes don't use ATS, so you need to pay attention to the speed markers on the route. Those red signals you encountered are most likely timers, and you need to look for a GT "#" sign before them to know the speed you need to slow down to to clear them.
