Most government jobs are all about politics. Especially when you're new and have to learn how things go. But once you understand the politics the job will be easy. Seniority is always the key thing.

I was thinking the same thing as well. It's better to go in with a CDL than with a permit. It gives you a better chance of getting the job because all you would have to do it qualify. You won't have all the pressure of having to qualify and pass the dmv.

Well from the way it looks, they are still on the previous exam which they are still calling people off from. I would say late this year is when they could be sending out letters to come downtown. But its all up in the air for now. Someone will who has a low list number will let us know when they get the letter. We are all in the waiting game now.

I'm surprised they don't use the boss exam for the conductor exam coming out. It would ween a lot of people out of contention. -

anywhere between 95 to 100 is good any lower and, its going to be a while. -
Study the DMV C manual and, also there are some free websites that have practice exams for the CDL which is a good way to study and understand.

trust me we'll know when they call off the list. People who don't have a CDL this is the best time to do it. Especially those with low list numbers.

oh boy i bet a sh*t ton of people applied look at how many exam dates they had to schedule. Your going to need to get 100 just to be in the top. -
Your right especially if you worked a ton of different jobs.

Well I for another city government agency and it's always best to have your birth certificate high school diploma or GED all in order. You don't want anything to slow your process down. People who haven't gotten a CDL permit should work on the ASAP especially those with very low list numbers. You don't want to rush at the last minute.

Yeah it was just a notice of results. I was thinking by the summertime. I just saw a training bus coming off the belt parkway whoever was driving was looking good. I hope they did well.

Well, they are still on the previous bus operator exam so, maybe by this summer people should be called from 4600 bus operator list. I believe they call a new group of people every two weeks.

Any good CDL schools in Brooklyn with reasonable prices. Might as well work on that while I wait.

147x with a score of 96.667. It's going to be a minute but still not bad.

Hey Guys been following for a while now. I just did my passenger and air brakes endorsement a month ago for my CDL permit. Just wanted to know how long are the endorsements good for before i have to retake them again.
