yeah there's a difference. I know for a fact that the wheels are behind you on the. Is so you have to turn differently than on a school bus. But, yeah I'm trying to get my license before going in. I've already been called and turned it down. I want less hurdles when I start training.

I had my first bus lesson on Saturday. It wasn't bad at all I just have to keep checking my mirrors. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just have to get used to behind behind the wheel.

I'm on the 4600 exam so it won't expire anytime soon. My road test in in February.

Did they ever remove you from the list?

I'm wondering if I did the right thing. My list number is in the 14xxx range and I didn't respond to two letters for pre-employment because I wanted to wait to get my full CDL. I keep calling DCAS and they still have me on the list. I'm wondering if I did the right thing as far as waiting to be called later.

Went today to retake my CDL permit since I renewed it once already. I decided to get the school bus enforcement just for the hell of it lol. Tomorrow I head off to CDL school.

I still believe that a ton of people will apply its going to be interesting in how many people end up being disqualified. But, I will fork over my 82 dollars. I've had my license and been working since i was 19. Funny to see the drivers license requirement.

From what I am hearing exam 8094 is done. Supposedly they are hiring off the promotional list.

well remember 8094 expires in February. As of right now they have classes scheduled for December and January. Once that list expires then the promotional list will be called depending on who want the promotional job (which you'll be surprised at the people who took it and, don't want the job) they will move onto this exam and list. I'm on this exam and the 8094 exam and, I just was called for pre-employment in August waiting to start a class. It might be a while so two nyears wont sound crazy.

are you allowed to come back the sameday to get the hold cleared. Like for example if your doctors office is not far and you have them sign the paperwork, could you bring it back that same day?

I can only imagine. I've been sitting here trying to figure out if I should take the chance with just my permit. I recieved another letter to come in for pre-employment on Nov 30. Crazy thing is my permit expires Dec 2. If you can pass the road test I might give it a try. I don't want to spend my savings on a driving school lol.

from what I am hearing pretty much. When I reported for my 2nd drug exam I was the 3rd person on the line and the 1st person for conductor. I was out the door by 10am.

I would still bring everything. The earlier you get there the faster your out.
