your allowed up to 4 points on your license anymore than that and you'll be told to come when your points are down they won't even let you continue with the hiring process. Even if you went to a driving school for the points back they pull your driving abstract.

I work for the city and the promotional exam was so hard for my title l our union had to offer classes for people who wanted tutoring. Now I can understand buying a study book for a promotional exam if they have one. It's just basic stuff on open competitive. Just take your time double check you answers. They last group out of 8094 will be done by the end of the month. Next month they will move onto the promotional list. So we still have some waiting to do. We haven't even gotten list numbers yet which is usually when they will start calling people off the list. Meanwhile keep your health in order and stay out of trouble. I had a friend get one for the past conductor exam. We looked over it and I told him not to rely on that test book because the questions were crazy and hard to understand. When he took the exam he failed it and, None of those questions from the book were on the test nor did it really prepare him for it. It's just a waste of time and money. Oh yeah we worked on that yesterday and my instructor told me the same thing. I did both with no issues.

Someone I know borrowed one from the library and it was dated from the 80's i doubt any of those questions would be on the exam. The most I would bring with me that day is a calculator just in case.

I hope that they swing back through the list again in March. I'll have my CDL license by then and I will be ready. Been parking the bus with my instructor and, I have been nailing it perfect just have to keep calling out my hazards and, i'll be fine. My instructor said I should pass based on what he has seen so far. I am taking my road test out in syosset Long lsland on feb 7th.

Oh trust me I know the feeling. I was call already but, had to think really hard if I wanted to go in with just a permit but man did I feel like I was ready.

Good to know that they wont be having any classes until March. By then I will have my full CDL license. Maybe they will call me by then.

i wear those now and I find that I trip more on those than any other boot.

Of course. By my 4th lesson I should be good. I I have found a ton of videos for the pre-trip inspection that is perfect.

I didn't think I would need a lot of lessons. My first day wasn't bad driving. It's all about being comfortable behind the wheel.
