I finally start Schoolcar 3/25 :-). What day should I start bringing a backpack? Since our first two days are Downtown BK then P.S. 248 - I'll be hopping on the train. I took that drive to P.S. 248 once and traffic going to and from was murder!! How many days do we report to 248? Thanks in advance.
Good luck and please keep us updated...

Guess that was definitely a rare opportunity. Won't see rerouted R160's to the Bronx again for a minute. (Assuming it was Manhattan-bound)
I saw it in Brooklyn.

Most likely a rerouted since that car and it's mates all belong to JYD.
Thanks for the expanation...

So I've been doing some thinking...with the B44-SBS going into full swing within a year and the northbound routing of the bus being relocated onto Rogers Avenue, I've been wondering about the Bedford Avenue/Arlington Place exit for the Nostrand Avenue station on the and the . Are they going to re-open it for the B44-SBS? I would be shocked if they didn't seeing that there will be a Fulton Street stop for the B44 in both directions, and the northbould stop will now be at Fulton/Bedford. Obviously it is unnecessary now since the northbound and southbound B44 stop at Fulton and Nostrand Avenues, and there isn't a Limited stop at Fulton/Bedford, but that will soon change. Will the MTA re-open the western exit for the station? I think it is warranted. Thoughts?
It would certainly help transfers...

Some Good News for you R42 Fans, the TA decided not to go with the plan on retiring the R42's this year, also the summer swaps will going on every summer until the R179's arrive, also the (Base order R160A-1's) will undergo SMS (8313-8652) so this might be intresting and THEY will not use the R143's for the (J)/(M) so ENY might need all of thier R42's for the summer and its still possible that the R32's MIGHT still go to ENY as spares just incase an R42 crap out
DID I REALLY JUST READ THAT?

Never noticed until recently, but if you look closely, you can tell the difference between a bus painted @ Grand ave and a bus painted at Zerega...

Now that you mention it, that explains the similar problems experienced on the BMT 4th Ave end of the Dekalb Ave spectrum with the and the . But that damn runs at the velocity of frozen molasses. You just can't win.

Often running behind schedule during afternoon rush hours.
add Xaverian,Mc Cauliffe,Mary White Ovington,Lutheran Elementary(which is actually k-12) although Tele,MWO and LES have more ppl on the than .The riders in Chinatown(7th to 9th Avenues)flood the bus IMO artics are needed on that route or more shortturns between Bay Ridge Avenue and Ave L/Flatbush Avenue...

It's amazing how people would piss themselves over a SMEE set or NTT set. I would say, "IT'S TOO DAMN HIGH!" but that joke is being overused too much.
Lol!

Went on the from Coney to 179 and back, then from Coney to Court Square via .
My stopping was better than the past 2 nights (above 50%), but still need to finesse it a bit.
are you in revenue service or out of service when you do that?
