  1. Unbelievably, I was on a Coney-Island bound D running on the F line a bit after that time (why run the D down the delayed F line?)  I wish the conductor made an announcement at Jay Street of 10+ minute delays up ahead, so that I could have transferred to the R at Jay Street instead.

MTA dude posted it above. Water condition at both Bergen and Carroll streets.

  2. The R68A for the (A) always leaves 207st at 6:53 Pm and does one round trip and then goes back to the yard... as for the R32 i caught it yesterday at around 7:15 pm at 42st going to 207st and that motorman was having fun on that express track lol.

What about the morning for the 32? Also, I will try again for the 68 at 6:53, but it wasn't there the last time I was.

  3. I caught an R68A at 9;00 at W4 going back to 207st and Rode it till 168st... it arrived likely at 9:35ish so it should be back in the yard right now

There needs to be a definitive time for when the R68 and R32 (A) runs so it can be caught. I tried going to 207th a day last week and waited for an hour(between 6 and 7PM) and nothing came. I also hear the 32 shows up in the morning.

  4. Well, no. While illegal to venture into the tunnel itself, photographing tunnels from a non-restricted area is absolutely permitted. While it could be seen as suspicious and lead to questioning, there is no "reporting" that could occur as it is not an offense.

He confused himself. The post he quoted stated that you are NOT allowed to take pictures of tunnels, yet he repeated that same fact.

Umm no. That's obviously not what happened. And I bet every single RTO employee who read your post cringed when they read it.

Unless you are there, you don't know.

  5. Also, I was taking a picture of an R32 C train relaying at 168 St in the tunnel and some of the station clean up crew told me that you are allowed to take pictures of the trains but not the tunnels.

I can't stand people who don't know the rules!

    You are allowed to!

    That's good to know.

  6. Caught an R32 (A) at Euclid this morning. This was actually my first time since September 28 back in 2012. It was crowded and the T/O (for some strange reason) stop at the 8 car marker, most likely because either the last car was out of passenger service or the entire train was 8-cars in sets of four, whatever may be the case. I was looking so forward to enjoying the ride all the way uptown to 207th and reverse back to Lefferts. My joy was short lived as soon as the train pulled into Broadway Junction, had a mechanical problem at the last car and was pulled from service, sent back to 207th shop for repair. Priceless.  <_<  <_<  <_<

What time did you catch it?

  7. Dude, you have the airtrain as your AVATAR!

So? Are you saying I changed something or is it something else? Kindly explain.

I don't doubt that, but he said:

"...did not change a thing. I doubt anyone will with what has been going on recently."

I asked what that was, and he said:

    "The Howard Beach R32 (A)".

Hence my confusion. I don't understand why such an event would magically stop people from acting like idiots. Or am I missing something?

I meant that people will not risk changing anything with the recent events being made public. It's not that hard to figure out.

  8. And I can guarantee that if any foamers caught the Howard Beach train, they would go through and start changing the signs to the Airtrain. And then think it was the most clever thing ever.

I caught that particular (A) and did not change a thing. I doubt anyone will with what has been going on recently.

  9. Yeah that's probably the case.  I sometimes forget how terrible traffic can get along 6th Avenue because I rarely use the BxM2 during the heart of rush hour since the BxM18 is much quicker at night, but even after the rush (circa 20:00 - 21:00) traffic can be a mess in the city at times.  The BxM1 is also fairly reliable and quick along 3rd at night, especially the ones that skip Inwood, which I usually try to get if I'm on the East Side.

The trip along the highway to Inwood is less than 10 minutes(i've timed it), while the trip along the highway to 231st is 5-10 minutes longer(also timed it). It really is only a difference of 2 stops(207th and 219th) and that is if people even get off there. If they don't, it's usually fairly similar time-wise.

  10. How do I report B/Os??? This shit is getting ridiculous.

You can send a later of complaint via the (MTA) website. They never really respond, though. I've had to do it many times. You can also call 511 and file a formal complaint. I did that and that worked better.

Its good to see our B37 bus route back. Sent from my 2330C using Tapatalk

You can credit the petition that was sent out and signed by 423 people. Is it going to Court Street so people don't have to make multiple transfers?

  11. And yes, I know some of you will take this rumor alone as enough reason to stand all night on the platform waiting for it. I can tell you one thing - EXPECT to see an R68A on the upper broadway line around 9:45AM tomorrow morning.

Saw it at 175th signed up as a (B) heading to 207th. 5112 was the lead car.

  12. I saw that train laid up in Stillwell Yard earlier tonight. Man, these R68As are EVERYWHERE this pick.

Did anyone happen to catch the 4 car R68-4 car R68A set this morning on the (B) ? If that were to end up on the (A) , I don't think some of you would be able to survive that.

I caught it twice along Central Park West. Would you happen to know if the R68/A will remain on the (Q) or was that a one time thing?

  13. So here's what i saw today:

    All southbound:

    3 (C) s via 8th Avenue Express

    1 (B) via 8th Avenue Local

    2 (D) s via 8th Avenue Local

    1 (E) via 8th Avenue Express

Buncha normal (E) trains via local

    1 (F) via 8th Avenue Local

    2 (M) s via 8th Avenue EXPRESS (I WONDER WHERE THEY WENT)

    1 (M) via 8th Avenue Local

No special (A) trains tho :'(  I saw 2 R160 (C) trains and rode one of them going express, mad speed.

All due to an investigation at 34th Street-Herald Square.

I was on the (F) that was backed up at West 4th. None of us knew why we were just sitting there. There was a (B) across the platform that was emptied out. At first, I thought I heard an announcement about this being something to do with the (M) , but then I asked an (MTA) employee what happened and he told me there was no power and there was, indeed, an investigation at 34th. He also said the trains weren't moving and to go upstairs for service. I took the liberty of going car to car to notify people and then, out of nowhere, we took off and continued on.
