  1.

Due to train car maintenance at Inwood-207 St, Bedford Pk Blvd, Wakefield-241 St and Woodlawn

a.png, d.png, 2.png and 4.png trains are running with delays in both directions.

    Allow additional travel time.

Friday Night + Halloween + Ebola Paranoia = insufficient clean trains after a hard night of partying on the subway. There were R160's running in unexpected places today to help cover gaps.

  2. Service Change  Posted: 07/07/2014 12:05PM

Due to a ongoing signal problem at New Lots Av:

Some southbound 3.png train service terminate at Utica Av.

Some southbound 3.png train service terminate at Pennsylvania Av.

In both directions 3.png and 4.png train service running with delays.

I saw the pictures. New Lots might be closed for a while......

Snowblock, I know you are busy, but if you have a chance and if you are able to may you scan a few pages of the book of codes. Thanks.

I don't put company documents online. If you get hired here, you can download it from TENS.

@MTA Dude yeah depending on the needs of the schedule, Idk if snowblock can confirm this but the Q trains that short turn at 57-7 ave are usually put in as N's because thats what it looks like

No, those are actually (N) trains with (N) crews. A couple of them short turn at 57-7 during rush hour, and they run express in Manhattan but they're still Sea Beach in Brooklyn.

  4. too bad r68 cant go to far rockaway. it still got time on the clock to go back to the yard.

It's because the gap crew which is assigned to the layup has their lunch at Lefferts so they won't be able to take it from Far Rock. And they need to be on that 68 going north so it can IMMEDIATELY head to Concourse from 207.

  5. What is the point of a clearance test with 188s on the Pelham line when 142As (which is basically the same thing) have been running in service on that route everyday just fine for the past 14-15 years?

BASICALLY the same thing is not the same thing.

  6. Because of a new IndyCar race in Downtown New York, all streets are closed south of Chambers Street, and all stations too.

Lines affected. From Thursday morning to Sunday night

    (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(A)(C)(E)(J)(R)(Z)

Easy, just bypass those stations without stopping. Chambers would be the last revenue stop on the (1) and (J)(Z) and (1) trains would run lite through the loop while (J)(Z) turn on the platform or use the relay.. You gotta question what kind of mayor would let an event like this happen at the time of day that the (Z) is still running.

  7. Just gonna say, the foam will be real if they put 2 5 car sets together and run it on the (6).... (only if it's possible I have no clue)

Yeah this is why they ran it from 2200-0200, when most of you foamers are supposed to be home and asleep.

Also bear in mind that there's nothing OFFICIAL about Joe Korner. He updates that site based on information sent to him, not official MTA documents.

  8. Oh I burned some customers tonight on the 4 Av. Made a connection with the (R) at Pacific, and then tk 3 gets hit with a track circuit so we crawl the whole way to 36 St. That first (R) is long gone and we actually have a second (R) pass us! And there were enough people who got off my train at 36 and then went across the platform to wait that I just had to shake my head.....

  9. Am proud to say that I still haven't ridden an R188 in service!

    why to Westchester?

I am not sure if you know or not.

They're doing clearance tests on the Pelham line tonight. Gonna run a R188 from Pelham to City Hall and back. Should be on the road right now.
