  1. I agree. I bet they are as empty as the on weekends when they get up to Woodhaven.
  2. Would it be possible that the R32's A/Cs have been fixed and working so the can have their R32s back?
  3. But everything said it was a train, and I saw this one FIND that said it was an when it really is a . Plus, I also saw an train that said last stop and resting on the s/b express track at Times Square. I forgot when though... How did that train even get there? Lemme guess, they are maintaining the layup tracks so the can't use them? I think the should punish those that aren't helping good lines stay good by maintaining them. I don't want that junk on the nor the .
  4. MANH, N and R Trains, Sick Customer July 6, 2014, 4:00 P.M. n/b N and R trains are running express from Canal St to 34 St, due to a sick customer at 23 St. Allow additional travel time. I was in the car where the injury took place. An old man fell down boarding at 14th Street. But I never saw any trains, not even a , pass my train.
  5. But the thing is the crowd on the . Are they heavy enough to qualify for a second local service? And does the and actually run at 20 minute intervals?
  6. No, don't start that idea. The train has enough problems already in Brooklyn. Plus skipping 10 stops is a lot, worth keeping.
  7. So, the other car at 11:30 could have been #1918 then, huh? Or what is the chance of finding the same car from the morning. Wait, trains switch at Astoria?
  8. runs via Rutgers to B'way Junction, then between 88th Street and Ozone/Rockaways. runs via Rutgers to B'way Junction. Alternate trains run via the to stop traffic in Rutgers. Extra trains between Brooklyn and 21st Street or 57th Street on the to make up for loss of service on .
  9. I saw two weird things today: R62A #1917 train with red bumper sticker and missing LED lights at around 7:00 p.m. R160 #8722 train's FIND said it was an train at around 12:10.
  10. Service Change Posted: 07/02/2014 8:48PM Due to a water condition between Bergen St and Carroll St, the following service changes are in effect: Some trains are running on the line from W 4 St-Washington Square to Coney Island-Stillwell Av in both direction. trains are running with delays in both directions. Allow additional travel time. Hmm, I wonder if anybody can catch those trains on the line. Is it running local on 4th Avenue?
  11. So, you rememer when the R32s were on the ? I was little when they were still on the , and I remember something about the being better than the ...
  12. Okay... but how do you explain the on 6th Avenue Express?
  13. But they say there is an out of system transfer between the and the , the , the , the , the , and the . What transfer is that?
  14. I have two stories. First of all, I've heard that the is always getting delayed in Brooklyn now, and train always catches up. Now, my two stories on the 6th Avenue Line: So, I was riding the from Grand Street. That time, I was still a noob, and I had the express thing stuck in my head. Plus, I think I thought that the was faster, so I was trying to avoid an that pulled up at West 4th Street. I was gonna transfer at 34th Street or something, but then my parents made me ride it, and my got to 34th Street first. Weird. Plus, it pulled out of Rockefeller Center before the got to open its doors. On Monday, I took the , and I saw the pull up at Rockefeller Center. So I transfered, and it kept getting delayed between 34th Street and West 4th Street (IDK why). So the pulled into West 4th Street, and just about 8 seconds later, the pulled in. I believe it was the same . Is there something wrong with the 6th Avenue line that keeps getting the delayed?
  15. Wait, what exactly are out-of-system transfers anyway? They're not really free like they say they are at Lexington Av-63rd Street, are they?
  16. Why can't the trains just bypass those stations like Snowblock said?
  17. Signaling and switching at DeKalb Avenue has gone haywire. A train passed a green light when there was an train in front of it, then it nearly crashed. A study showed that there has been short-circuiting, and the entire section at DeKalb Avenue had to be closed down. No service available anywhere where there are switches at DeKalb Avenue. Services affected: . P.S. this is assuming that the Montague Tube is fixed, but DeKalb avenue is still impassible.
  18. I saw 6 R188s in a row!!! XD! Does anybody wish that the didn't bunch up R188s in service? I saw one R188 on my R62A train, then an R62A, then 3 R188s in a row, then an R62A, then another R188, and there was an R188 at Flushing-Main Street on the middle track. Btw what is the chance really that two trains come into Flushing-Main Street at the same time? Cause that was what happened to me today. And there was an R188 in on the center track.
  19. : Most trains go via the line between Jackson Heights and West 4th Street with delays. Some terminate at Court Square. Some trains go normal route sharing a track at Court Square and Queens Plaza with delays. : Delayed. : Trains run via the between Rockefeller Center and 36th Street with delays. Runs up to 179th Street. Some trains run via the to Chambers Street. : Runs to 179th Street.
  20. I saw it on the Pueto Rican parade and it was near 33rd Street. Southbound on an AM Sunday. It kind of looked less sharp on the westbound switch. It looked a bit sharper on the express. Weird.
