  1. I really liked those 2010 LFSAs. They’re very futuristic sounding and felt appropriate (back in those days) for the SBS routes. Nowadays, they still are good, but I kinda felt like the screens on the M15 ruined part of the sounds.
  2. That will probably not happen because the administration will be scared to their bones of the backlash of endorsing such actions by having it in the yearbook.
  3. By farejumping, you’re helping with making the problem, not solving it. Shame. If you guys didn’t farejump, then the MTA would’ve been in better financial state.
  4. Wait...that R44 is essentially mechanically dead now?
  5. I wouldn’t be so sure as of right now. Hopefully this will clear up before April, but as of right now, West Farm seems to be short on buses to the point that a LFS from Gun Hill had to be used on the Bx36.
  6. I would’ve cared about the fare jumpers more. But yeah, there has been a lot of incidents where bus drivers have gotten beaten up because of this. Hopefully they can get people to check in and see if people are paying or not. Even better, make them plainscolthes people.
  7. There was a post from 2nd Ave Segas on Twitter showing that actually happening. I can't find the tweet though.
  8. I kinda feel like that’s the MTA’s attitude tbh. They’re trying to shave costs on aesthetic upkeep
  9. It seems to be even brutal in NJ, tbh. Heres one via Twitter
  10. I saw Broadway and 187th St being jammed up real bad. The Bx7s and M100s probably had to go via Bennet/Overlook.
  11. I saw a C at W4 going uptown at 7:23 am and someone else saw it at 1:15 at 14th St
  12. Was the train doors opening on the correct side (if the platform is on the left then the doors open on the left and if the platform is on the right then the doors open on the right)?
  13. I’ve seen 2nd Gen LFSes run by Academy for Columbia...until this fall when the XE40s took over.
  14. Let me reword that part. There was construction work and gas plumbing removal work being done, and since they occurred at close proximity, the electrical sparks caused the explosion to cause the fire. It’s like regular gas—mix gas and sparks, and an ugly situation arises.
  15. 1205 definitely caught on fire in some extent. There were some RTSes that caught on fire (1 shortly after delivery and several at the LGA Depot due to a CNG explosion).
  16. More likely that the guy saw "34th St" on the coach bus sign and took that bus even though it was going to the HBLR terminal there.
  17. I feel like maybe some cables with the PA system may need to be reattached/replaced. Sometimes there’s buzzing during announcements.
  18. Yeah sorry that was me. The R32s can’t do OPTO. The 46s and 179s can
