What neighborhood was this in? I can't believe this would be happening in Staten Island--but the last part made sense in terms of the consequences these kids got. Only if this happened with bus stops where it's a hotspot of kids farejumping...

Is that the whole reason why there were rumors surfacing about an additional two B cars for the R179 order?

I thought it was that the R46s were being pooled and supplying the A and C (until it hits the quota)

They were also used on the M9, M22, and the M55, so no. I would say that it was for the general MJQ depot bus fleet.
