In that case then, sound the warning bell that everyone gotta take the last footage of the R32 J/Z trains.
Done that just a few weeks ago before June ended. The R32's removal from the and onto other lines for Canarsie tunnel shutdown is signaling that the world's oldest subway car is soon meeting it's end.

I have noticed a lot of R62A train being hot cars. I've ridden on a few for a few days now.. Are the AC's broken or what?

By that logic, we shouldn't buy any trains from anybody, because nobody buys American trains. Looking at the quality of American cars vs other countries, I don't blame em.
A lot of the best U.S. train companies died a long time ago. If they were still here, the transit industry would be a very different place.

It has been years since I've done a proposal on this thread.
A train service to Coney Island. Every summer, select trains would go to Coney Island making all stops with the . The purpose is that it serves residents throughout the Crosstown line for a one seat ride to the beaches and amusements when the Island is at it's peak, and alleviate overcrowding on the .
Another suggestion is to draw out plans of where the 2nd Avenue Subway should go in Brooklyn should the ever consider extending the line in the future. I imagine a 4-track 5th Avenue Subway with a connection to the train around 36th Street and ending at Bay Ridge where the is. Maybe even an elevated line on the Staten Island Expressway with a tunnel under the Verrazano-Narrows and heading underground afterwards ending at the Mall.

I have to try and get a recording of an equally jovial C/R I sometimes have on the He always sounds upbeat and goes above and beyond with the I/C. Notes the museum of natural history and planetarium at 79 st for instance.
My personal favorite is he'll say at Columbus circle, in the kindest tone of voice "Good morning everyone, please try and move all the way into the car so everyone can ride the choo-choo" it's goofy, but it makes me crack a smile.

I have ridden his train during the AM rush as well. Great to hear his voice too.

Yes. Not that many but they do appear.
......ok
R143'so are not assigned to the but are rather used as supplements. I also wonder why they're on the
It could have to do with the train's fleet/yard (speaking of which)...
Is there gonna be a / strip map soon since this train car is swapping between these lines so much?

I can't wait for the station to re-open. As a long-time train rider, it's a big step for the Lower Manhattan subway infrastructure to fully recover from 9/11. I'll likely won't mind the change in timing for trains heading to-and-from South Ferry.

Only 1 train is left for the to go back to the : 1306-1310 and the Union Sq set 1431-4 with 1438
That R62 on the isn't going to the soon. I've seen it just today on the way home. In fact, the interior of the Union Square wreck has a train strip map on and they haven't removed those for a few years now (1-2 to be exact).

I don't know if it's just me, but I don't understand the media hype around this shutdown. It hasn't started yet, and a lot of people are already worried.

trains are going up SAS as of 4:00pm. What happened this time?
Maybe something happened in Astoria, the 60th Street tunnels, or another rush hour trip.

not in SI, only Orions, and NovaBuses down here.
Oh yeah, that as well. Speaking of which, will any of the newer Xcelsiors head down to SI soon?

The Xcelsiors are truly invading the bus fleet. It seems New Flyer has the upper hand lately.

For the number of R32's on the there's still a few operating, I don't know an exact number though.

This is great news to hear. The letter lines will get a big boost in service soon.

Anyone noticing the and trains receiving a ton of more passengers lately? I wonder what's up with the ridership levels for these lines...

A Kanye West and Jay Z joint. I never get old of this song.

There are still some R32's running on the train.

Seems the R32's are not done with the train yet. I caught one today and yesterday.
Also, anyone noticed the getting a bit of a bad service pattern lately?0 -

Took the today for the first time in a little while, and it made me wonder: when was the last time anything other than an R160 ran on it, and what type of train was it?
The last time the ever ran another train car was in the late 2000's, and I think it was a bunch of R32's and 42's that have since been scrapped.

It was nice seeing the R179 in action yesterday. I'm happy that it's finally seeing passenger service.

I imagine it was a ton of fun riding the R16's, the Gate Cars, whatever was left of the experimental BMT cars, and tons of other equipment that was around back then. Truly an era we'd wish we were alive to witness.
