A better plan IMO.. Right on Vandy or Washington, Left on Atlantic. via Atlantic to Smith/Futon Mall. But why would you want to eliminate the B65 on Bergen Street going towards downtown. I'm trying to understand you. Just need you to be a little more specifc. For the most part Bergen Street traffic is not bad.

So u mean west bound towards downtown? If so, I can't see that. Bergen street traffic isn't horrible. Flatbush traffic tends to be horrible at times. Keep in mind. Morning/Evening traffic can be HELL.

Unless you want the B65 to travel down Livingston to have them to the illegal turn from Flatbush to Atlantic. (ELIMINATE THAT). Have the B65 go direct to Atlantic, make the normal stops than continue down Atlantic, than right on Washington, than regular to Dean Street. Too many buses on Livingston.. B41/103/67/45 + dollar vans. Now for this B45 idea. I could see this past only for the rush hour AM/PM and Weekends (Part-time). I can't really see this passing for FULL TIME implemation.

I believe 488 is already at JG. I could be wrong.

Spotted some +SBS+ buses from 126th doing the G/O from Flatbush to Franklin earlier today.. Also some buses from TAD/100th on the G/O 2nite. Can't wait to see some Nova's down Flatbush/Nostrand.. Dunno abt Utica.

Should the 65 run enroute b/w Smith-boerum via Atlantic to Washington? I definitely can agree on this, BUT the affect will be the traffic getiing out of Flatbush. If traffic is controlled right on Flatbush, I can see this going right. AM/PM rush hour + Concert & NETS basketball games would be affected with the traffic. Other times, this would be a good move. Atlantic, for the most part traffic flows alot better than Bergen/Dean.. Both streets are commercial and small. QUESTION to ALL Should the B45 & B65 be Extended or Merged? to Alabama Ave/Bway Jct. station. Here's my answer --> Honestly, to me B45/65 should be EXTENDED to Broadway Junction/Alabama Ave . You are giving options for customers for a 1 seat ride to the Junction/Alabama Ave which could mean more ridership especially at night when trains run staggered.

NEW EXPRESS BUS SERVICE ROUTE idea: Between: Mill Basin (BM6), Canarsie (BM7), Sheepshead (BM8) & Gerristen Beach (BM9) to W Midtown: BM6/7/8/9: West Midtown- 59th/Columbus Cir via 6th Ave. Same routing to take effect in Brooklyn, however, once off the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel Right on West Side Hwy, Right on Warren, Left on 6th. Stops at: Church/Chambers Church/Worth 6th/W.4 6th/W.14 6th/W.23 6th/W.34 6th/W.40 6th/W.49 6th/W.54 Left at CPS, stand at CPW & 60th. . Return via 7th 59th/Columbus Cir 7th/57th 7th/50th 7th/40th 7th/34th 7th/23rd 7th/14th 7th/Houston Right on Houston, Left on West Side Hwy Non-stop to Battery Tunnel to BK. Hours of Operation: 6 Roundtrips (AM), 6 Roundtrips (PM) Buses run every 20 mins. 7:20, 7:40, 8:00AM, 8:20, 8:40, 9AM- AM rush. 4:20, 4:40, 5:00, 5:20, 5:40, 6PM- PM Rush. No Saturday service.

Just rode on bus 5051 (FB).. on the B46. That bus ride sweet. and has driver partition..

That's a short turn. I believe those buses go to Eastern Parkway during AM/PM Rush.

YUK's 42's are here temporary, not a permanent swap for FB.. FB would be at least 30 buses short.. (26) to be exact.

Those Yukon buses need to be returned back to sender.. Spotted 4248 on Flatbush/Foster.. OUT OF SERVICE with the mechanic truck being worked on at 7:25AM.

Not happening. train does a good job serving the area. That's the main reason why the B71 got eliminated in June 2010. Even if the MTA has money right now, the B71 will not get reinstated.

Yukon's NG's to Fresh Pond CAS's NG's to YUKON.. So, technically it does make sense, and it should be temporary..

NO CNG buses on the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel... (After 9/11) Unless you got another depot to operate the B71, maybe FB if you want the service, and also NO need for Eastern Parkway bus service..
