  1. yeah I know that was just to show you that the R32s can operate in OPTO service if T/Os really understand how to operate the train the just go to the front and back of the train to operate it without the full width cabs how do you think they operated the R32s on the Franklin
  2. they did have 4 car sets on the when they were replacing the R44 and when the R46s were going through SMS there are plenty of videos on it. Look at this video
  3. I'm not continuing this conversation about the R32s going to the its just a really interesting topic look I'm a guy who likes to let people know about his opinions even the other rail fanner in this thread keep on dragging on about this I'm a rail fanner who likes to share his thoughts and say what I think
  4. they were able to run out on the rockaway park without any problems why not the shuttle and the width of the cabs are just fine for OPTO
  5. they can run R32s in OPTO service on weekends on the its on four cars and the line is short this way on weekends you can put the R160s from the on the and throw some R160s to stay on the permentaly
  6. yeah the ridership has been growing like crazy ever since it has been rerouted so it's getting to a point where it needs some high performing subway cars the MTA even called for an extension of the last year
  7. I'm just saying it would be nice to see an R32 on queens blvd line again before they make queens blvd line CBTC
  8. they can use the original brown logo for the R32s they can just throw it on there look at the R143 that ran on the they had the strip map inside the train and people still knew it was the train
  9. I'm not making a big deal about it and I'm not saying that the R32s can't handle the I'm just saying out of all the east new york yard routes the gets treated like a part time line I'm on an R42 the other day we get to myrtle ave bway first and the comes a couple minutes late and gets to leave first why?
  10. That does make sense I'm just wondering why do they only go to the you can't treat the like it's a part time line you have to put sum R32s on at least the shuttle at night so they can get some rest
  11. I know why they can't be used on the but why not the they can create an orange bullet and have the R32s run late at midnight as the shuttle or off peak hours
  12. [quo.100%e=%train fan22" pos should takt="832831" timestamp="1432325684] I always wonder why they never make the a 100 percent 160 during these summer swaps, I'm sure they could send 18 sets of 160s to the without dipping into the & line fleets. yeah I agree during the summer they should make the fleet entirely R160s they should take some sets from the and put some R32s on that line you can't put the R32s on the since it is already CBTC
  13. I hope only 50% of them stay in ENY the (J)/(Z) is not a part time like the but it will be lit????
  14. why? The R32s breakdown the most on the . Why would they keep the m on the because they want to 207 st yard probably wants as much R160s as they can get for the
  15. 207 st yard will maintain thir R160s better than their R32s since the R160s are newer and the R r32 on the (J)/(Z) will run with at least some decency
  16. the R32s are well maintained in east new yard IMO east new york yard is one the best yards we have out there even their R42s run pretty decently
  17. to add on to what I said those two sets of R32s on the J might go back to 207 st yard after the summer swap due to the C train needing extra trains alongg with a set of R160s
  18. The R32s aren't going anywhere till 2017 so Its pretty pointless for them to complain for a better C train right now
  19. not trolling I'm serious I know the two car numbers of the sets ( i remember riding those two sets on the F) I agree with you there this can most likely take place after the summer swap is over
  20. not necro posting just testing out my new account
