  1. Yeah, I seen it when the J was skipping 111 St
  2. Yesterday, I seen four R179s on the and one on the . I taken 3094 yesterday and I was pretty cold until I sat down and my initial thought was, "Yo, who was sitting here? They really burnt the whole seat!" Then I forgot that the seats were heated.
  3. Exactly. Remind me what EIS stands for please.
  4. I personally think that Artics in Staten Island are a bad idea, because of all the hills and hard turns most of the time. However, Richmond Terrace wouldn't sound like a bad idea.
  5. I mean, it says it on the station signs when you pass it. Someone on Instagram saw it. Can't recall the name.
  6. Dutch Kills must mean an area in Queens where there is mostly Dutch citizens.
  7. I mean, this is the oldest line in New York City Subway we’re talking about. So, I can understand why and how it’s a problem for this particular station, structure wise.
  8. Well, the wall for 167th Street came down on the uptown platform. It looks very scary. Dark, with no lights.
  9. It really was in bad condition, especially because of the fact that it was under Grand Concourse. The only other 2 stations to have that entrance under the Concourse is Bedford Park Boulevard and Kingsbridge Road.
  10. I agree. With this station being the first station to reopen in the Bronx, it looks very satisfying, even though it's not open yet. My question is, how will the entrances look, especially under the Grand Concourse on the 174 St Underpass?
  11. No. It was all the way at 125 Street once that situation happened.
  12. Did anyone hear that there was a 4-car R68 schoolcar signed up as a in Manhattan?
  13. 57 Street's walls came down as well, it's still a lot of work that needs to be done. Considering that the has that island platform at the station, I assumed that it was going to be a whole different situation, because the brick tile walls didn't have to be worked on.
  14. I saw the walls go down that same weekend, but this week, I seen people actually working. The gates that covered the staircase and abandoned lower level are now replaced with a brick wall.
  15. I know it was a company that did well with the Astoria Line stops as well.
  16. Well... That explains why a 5-car station on an IRT line and 3 stations in Brooklyn ,that really didn't need the renovation considering it wasn't falling apart, came out better than Central Park West.* *It's not that I don't like how CPW came out, it's just the 4th Avenue stations and 145th Street came out better in my opinion.
  17. Yes, there are 2. They both ran yesterday.
  18. I go by who had the contract for those stations. What were the name of the contractors who had stations renovated?
  19. OK, 3 Questions: 1) Anyone have an idea of who will be awarded the contract to work on the stations for the (5) and (6)? 2) What is the next station to reopen? 3) How will Pelham Pkwy come out in your opinions?
  20. Why do I feel like every line is running school cars? I feel like the more schoolcars, the more chances a thread FOR the schoolcars is going to coming into existance.
  21. Isn't this the set to replace that last R32 in East New York?
  22. Oh, right. Sorry, I haven't taken or seen R42s in a couple of months.
