  1. I seen 3 sets of R32s on the today. The rush hour theory is probably out the window.
  2. For anyone looking R32 at Jamaica Center right now.
  3. Caught that exact same set testing before it went into service.
  4. Might as well keep them on the (J). Since the shutdown is not happening there really won't be a need to move equipment around as much.
  5. It's sitting at 190 st right now still waiting for it to move for those of you still looking for it heading to 207th.
  6. The would need R32s for additional service since they are converting to 8 cars. So the most likely would get the 32s.
  7. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=undefined&cd=&ved=0ahUKEwj85Lvly_vfAhUrh-AKHSXxDoYQzPwBCAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nydailynews.com%2Fnew-york%2Fny-metro-r179-mta-train-car-20190108-story.html&psig=AOvVaw3ZClXsSLQqprGzkeLAvuq5&ust=1548047318779421 This article may interest some of you I've noticed that the 179s have had their fair share of consistent breakdowns and defects. I am aware of the possibility that can just be an effect of the "New Subway Car Phase" but I would like to shed some light on what is going on specifically. My experiences with the 179s personally haven't been really good.
  8. Saw 3181-3184 testing last night at Fulton St. It had an "8 AVE EXPRESS" signage.
  9. Would any of you know what time the daily rush hour 68 departs 96 st.
  10. Not tho derail this thread off topic but where do the R42s fit in this equation? Are they going to be reserved after the shutdown or are they going to the (B)?
  11. The R42s will be reserved for (B) service correct? Nothing's retiring till after the (L) shutdown.
  12. There's currently a 143 on the it's on the Williamsburg Bridge.
  13. Saw 3010-3014 testing yesterday at Canal St.
  14. What time does the 46 leave 96 st-2 ave in the mornings?
  15. The 42s could possibly go to C.I as well aren't the 42s very frowned upon(possibly banned) from 207 st yard.
  16. It's necessary because the roofs are detoriating fast. The roofs (before SMS) had a whole bunch of scrachitti on them and it looked terrible. I remember that's how the 38s went when they literary had to put tape on the roofs.
  17. Will all of the R32s be remove from service?
  18. There no R train service from 36 St-(BKLYN) to 95 St in both directions because of debris on the tracks at 86 St. There is R shuttle train service between 36 St (Bklyn) and Bay Ridge-95 St in both directions. Southbound R trains are stopping along the D line from 36 St (Bklyn) to 9 Av then end. Crazy!! Southbound E trains are stopping along the F line from 2 Av and end at Church Av. Details at https://t.co/vhZQ2kZ2vb Happy foaming. Wasn't 86 st one of the stations next in line to get renovated to?
  19. Actually not all of the R62As have been converted to full width cabs yet. Just staring out of the Front window on the train yesterday. Edit: lol silly me reread and just noticed you said "B division". My apologies.
  20. Lol Missed you and your astounding use of sarcasm. Where have you been?
  21. They can also be rerouted to the line or even the and lines. Just seen a train at York St last week and I've took the train to Chambers St before.
  22. Never seen it on the before tho. Then disregard the irrelevant information.
  23. Countdown clocks active on the line Jamaica Center ParsonsArcher Sutphin Blvd
