    I think that extending the Astoria line to the Bronx is pretty doable. TBH I find it more necessary then extending the to Laguardia. Due to the fact that it actually can be useful for Queens and Bronx commuters.

    Once enough R179 cars come in will they retire the R42s? I hear that the first line the R179s are going to touch are the and to retire the 42s. Another rumor I hear is that they are going to stay as long as the 32s to accommodate service for the train shutdown in 2019.

    My prediction is that ridership will continue to decrease on the Q28. People are finding a bunch of alternates around the route. It will probably be axed in the next couple of years.

    None need to construct a yard,the already has two yards taking care of it Jamaica Yard and Coney Island Yard. Back in the day when the went to Astoria this proposal would of been necessary.

    It sounds doable but service would be less frequent on the Queens blvd local. The isn't frequent enough to handle all that capacity on its own. You would have the Rockaway park and the terminating at Howard beach which would cause congestion and make the less frequent unless youre talking about getting rid of the .

    I rode set 9027 on the today nice ride could've rode it from Brooklyn if I wasn't in a hurry but I only rode it from Manhattan. It was way to crowded to film tho.
