Promotion to Power Distribution Maintainer (8716) also established last year in July, with 96 eligibles. You also have the same title under (0703) that Track Workers took an exam for last week. I would imagine NYCT is losing a lot of Track headcount now. That’s not including the amount of people that got fired, retired, or resigned as you mentioned. We should definitely see some movement, very soon.

I would say very soon, as the list already has been established and has an expiration date of 01/08/2024. This means that the TA is going to pull from our list any day now. Hopefully the city will push for more Track Workers so that we can reach the amount of list numbers that 3600 hit, even though that list moved really slow.

Here is hoping that we all get on the job soon!! Still have a lot of waiting to do but that’s okay. At least we know where we stand now lol

Why do you say that? Unless you have a felony or bad driving history I don’t see why they would disqualify you unless you were already disqualified. if none of the above is true then I would become aggressive about the situation as you are losing seniority and time. Seniority is everything with Sanitation and your time with NYCERS can transfer over to transit if you decide to do that.

I would say there is another year left for this exam because it'll take them a while to establish 0186. You never know lol

Anyone else applying for this title? I already see them offering provisional for those who do end up on the list but anyone familiar with the hiring process? Just wondering as the starting pay is fairly high and the title doesn't require a practical as part of its hiring process, as far as its older Notice of Examinations are concerned. Just wanted to make sure if there is a one on one interview or a panel interview or something else hidden in between the lines? I am now eligible for this so I'll be taking it!

NYCT should be establishing our list soon!! We still have a ton of waiting but I need to see what our list numbers are. It’s already been over two years since we’ve applied. The wait for just a list number is killing!

That seems to be the case with the older OA exams. It could be the case with this one. I also didn’t expect to get the Boss in October, and knowing the MTA, it’s on a day that I work lol

I got my test on October 24th.. wasn’t expecting it to be that quick.

75%, list number 91xx here..Having 0 as my 5th digit sure does help though haha

What's up fellas! Proposed answer keys are posted early, and apparently, I got a 95% on this test. I hope that'll be enough to get called.. I guess we will just have to see how many people end up on the list.

It's great that you will get on as a C/R, but will probably not get invited to take the Traffic Checker exam. It's funny how that works.. lol

Just took the T/O exam and I applied for SIR Track Worker. How about you Jc? I expected it to be a small one too but I guess not!

I got my random number in the mail for Traffic Checker (MaBSTOA), Exam No. 7104. I'm guessing any number that is way above 2,000 will not be contacted for the exam? Mine is extremely high, which is around 70xx.

Do your best and do not give up. This is the part that matters the most. Everything else will come later for us. You'll see. Good luck!

Congrats! Were there any work experience requirements for Traffic Checker? I've been waiting a long time for this upcoming March one.
