Young NYC subway fan. Would an entry level separation from the military dq someone? It's not a dishonorable discharge. He was in the military for only 2 weeks. Again it's not a dishonorable discharge that he has just an entry level separation which is basically equivalent to not even being in the military

Yea same here man. I actually just signed up with a driving school last week. They told me the earliest available road test from DMV is in May. Ugh lol.

lol sort of hoping they don't call until June. I have a cdl road test scheduled in May. Was hoping to get the cdl license before going to training. Oh well.

Non exempted interstate is the one you should get. You must get a dot physical first from a dot qualifying doctor. It's like 75 bucks for the physical. If you do not get the dot physical before getting the permit u will have an A3 restriction which will prevent you from getting the mta job. For all the people who received the employment paperwork in the mail..... Did you guys also receive a phone call from the mta letting u know they sent you the paperwork and also of the date you are to go down to Livingston st

To the guy with the expired passport and no birth certificate. Were you born in NY? You can order a birth certificate online. They have an option where if you pay an extra 15 bucks or 20 bucks you can get it shipped via 2day mail. Might be next day mail I forget. Google how to get birth certificate online. It's going to be on a website called vital records, Or something like that forget the name of the website. I got mine a few weeks ago via this method

161passenger. I am referring to the DMV cdl part. I thought if you didn't have the cdl and only had the permit that you had to pass the mta training and then pass a cdl road test thru the DMV. Am I wrong or right?

I only have the permit with air brakes and passenger. I am scheduled to take my cdl road test in May. If mta calls me first and I pass the mta training, how many chances do I get to pass the DMV portion of the road test? Is it only one try ?

My brother is ahead of you on the list. He's 16xx his says he is not on an outstanding certification. How come you're says your on one but his says he's not? Lol weird

I just called dcas as well. It says I am on an outstanding certification. I am list number 2xx. Does that mean I should be getting a call or a letter in the mail shortly?

a friend of mine on the list has an entry level seperation from the military . He was in the military for abot 2 weeks. (It was an entry level separation discharge, not a dishonorable discharge). How would that effect him?

Regular mail. They have an automated system that will probably call you too. Definitely regular mail and also maybe the phone call.
