Thanks, so good to know! I'll be on 430 train from where I am, transfer from Jamaica to Atlantic and take the D from there I think.

Not 100% sure, but I don’t think the LIRR to Atlantic runs early at that time. You might wanna double check. I think the earliest LIRR train to Atlantic leaves around 630 and gets there at 655.

If hes coming from wheatley heights he should be on train 2005 during the weekdays which has the first atlantic terminal getting him in around 5:55am. Should be fine. If they ever surprise you with a weekend class that would be where the challange comes in. Thats when trains don't start rolling in until around 6:40.

  2. When you have your name put back on the list it is restored  by DCAS not the MTA. It could take DCAS up to 2 months before your name is restored to the list and just a little bit longer for the MTA to resend you the paperwork to come in for PE. Going to livingston with just get you the same response of having to go to DCAS to get your name restored.

I wonder why they have everyone waiting like that? Guess there aren't as many positions available like we were first told.

They processed around 1200 for preemployment, and according to other posts are around 310 for medical, with the next class being July 9th the next batch of emails for medical hopefully go out next week.

Ok got you,  funny thing is I remember on my answer key, I counted ,m6 wrong, but when they sent me my list number I had a score of 5 wrong. Could that mean one of the answers I originally though I had gotten wrong was protested ? So it might have had two “right” answers?  This was a different session btw.

It could go both ways, you could have 6 wrong like you originally thought, you just have to wait and see

    Anybody else at livingston now?

Something they said that's new to me. After 231 days the pay is 34.88, not top pay yet.

That's what they said to me as well, but eventually we'll get to top pay, I'm in no rush

Hey guys so I just came from the OPA how soon will they give us the results? And if we failed does that mean it’s the end of the road for you? Lol I think I did ok. I was a bit nervous for the 2nd part :(

Its pass fail results. If you failed then yes you are disqualified from the hiring process however,if you did good on the first part I wouldn't worry to much about the second. So long as you spoke as clear as possible and weren't responding in a foreign language I don't think you will fail.

    For everyone here to know!!!

If your neck is over 17" and your BMI is over 35 you will have a medical hold! A sleep study must be done to clear it.

To find your BMI got to goggle and search BMI calculator, there you will put your weight and height and get results. If it's over it, start dieting now!!!

I wonder if I can have the test done in advance as my neck is 18" but i'm 6 1/2 feet tall so I always have a bit more of everything lol

I received a result notice today for the T/O Exam 7604.  Test score: 95, List number: 538!!😰.   I noticed from other threads that people with test scores > 93 got pre-employment letters.  I am a US veteran with a clean record.  Can anyone please explain why i didn't receive a pre-employment letter?  Thanks.

I'm actually 5xx and recieved mine wed to come in this wed for pre employment, If you don't get it in tuesday's mail I would say call them cause you might be due to come in wed like me

Quick question for the Vets in here.

I recently got a wisdom tooth extraction, which involved bone removal and the whole nine yards.
My dentist prescribed me Tylenol w/ codeine as the painkiller. I know codeine will show up on a drug test, but am I okay if I show them a note from my dentist stating that he prescribed these meds to me?

If I need to, I'm willing to just eat the pain and skip on the pain meds until after the drug test, but I just want to have an idea. Sucks that today is Saturday and I can't call the MTA.

You should be good so long as you bring the note stating it was prescribed. Plus they give you a chance to list any prescribed meds on their sheet as well

I'm sorry, I don't know too much about T/O...what is T/O (Yard)? As you can see, I ain't ready for this...I just learned about A & B Divisions...

Train operator can works yards where the equipment is layed up and not in revenue service "T/O (Yard)" or they can work the lines where the train is in service and getting passengere "T/O (Road)"
