  1. Nah i was waiting for the email for the drug test after sending in my paper work on the 30th of July.
  2. Got my email earlier today to come in tomorrow for my drug test and to continue the pre employment process.
  3. Im going to give them until Friday because I sent my documents on the 30th of July so idk what the hold up is. My friend got called for the pre employment before I did he went in today, and his number is 6 higher than mine 🤔
  4. That's funny my list number is also 13XX and I've submitted my documents and still no email. You can always call 180 to ask what they mean and tell them you entered your social instead
  5. Someone in the train operator forum got called to come on Tuesday for pre employment
  6. Nope I sent all my stuff in last week Thursday and nothing yet either
  7. Call 180 and see what they tell you the number is (347)643-7413
  8. So being extra extra doesn't mean anything I still have one year to back as extra extra if anything or a demotion after a year if something happened?
  9. I'm extra extra still as a conductor so idk how that will play out for me sadly
  10. Well i got my pre employment for train operator through email instead something different
  11. How does it work would I be able to go back to my conductor job since I passed my c/r probation? Because this test is open competitive when I took it and not promotional is there any draw backs?
  12. "Due to the pandemic, we haven’t had a T/O or C/R class since January. New classes are being scheduled Conductors, September 8th Train Operators, September 21st Reminder: with Transit, anything is subject to change. For now, this is the information we’ve been provided." From the VP of TWU 100
  13. Yeah same here also figured I'd let everyone know lemme post this also in the conductor forum as well so they know what's going on
  14. "Due to the pandemic, we haven’t had a T/O or C/R class since January, and a Towers class since March. New classes are being scheduled for August-September: Conductors, September 8th Train Operators, September 21st Reminder: with Transit, anything is subject to change. For now, this is the information we’ve been provided." Provided from the VP of TWU 100
  15. Alright cool makes sense only thing I'm nervous about is the miscellaneous signals and apparently red doesn't only mean just stop. I think there's another definition something about with permission from rcc to bridge the IJ and continue with restricted speed extreme caution expecting to find an occupied track, broken rail or obstruction. And also the track workers stuff and the different helmet colors and what they mean stressing me out for no reason lol
  16. Holy crap 3 to 4 months with an incident or you'll get terminated that's not fair, did you accidentally hit a home signal?
  17. Random question but is it hard becoming a train operator ill be coming in as a conductor with only 1 year and a month in title
  18. Did he say if the TSS was a good teacher or one who acts like we're stupid, had one of them in my conductors class who talked down to all of us.
  19. Yeah im in the A division currently, some people will not get the job due to failing a drug test, failing the medical, or being on medical hold, and when this happens they just go to the next person and the next person.
  20. Yeah they still have to do a drug test what I'm assuming they're going to do because of covid is go over the paperwork and make sure everything is good and then email people again for a scheduled drug test. This could be so that they don't have a ton of people in the drug testing waitiing room at once.
  21. I'm assuming that's why they sent that blast email to people because they need to hire a lot more people, every week I've been hearing rcc on the radio saying if train operators or conductors are looking to work on their day off to call the crew office.
